Ethereal and Indelicate (Zombie and Superhero rp)

"We can get most of them in the area eventually. You guys may be able to hold out long enough here to wait until they decompose and die off themselves, the are corpses right?"

"Nice try." Hoss said. Loki walked to the edge.

"Yeah it is really weird." Wolf nodded.

"So this is your first time as a human again since the meteor?" Karu asked.

"No. It happens once a month. I'm a reverse werewolf. Instead of me being a wolf only one day a month, I'm only human when ever there is no moon in the sky."

"Do you know when the next new moon is?" Karu asked

"well no, not really, honestly."

"It doesn't make sense why Hoss would stick around here, even if he wanted to retake the Haven it'd be better for him to retreat." Karu said

"Who knows." Wolf said. "The man is crazy."

"Wonder if I could send toxic gas through all the pipes in the Haven while everyone's outside. I wonder if that would get him." Karu said

"If he's even hiding in here. But that would be really dangerous. I feel like we'd lose a lot of people."

"We'd get everyone evacuated first." Karu said.

[I feel like making a character that's one of Hoss's created mutants]

Well yeah, I know that, but how would we protect them outside the walls. I can't patrol as a beast if Hoss is still alive."

"I just mean in the courtyard, the gas would only affect the hotel and basement." He said. "In the open air it can't do much."

"I don't know, we don't know if he's even here still."

"If he wasn't why would you still be human?" Karu asked

"I'm not sure, or he could be somewhere outside the fences too."

"It'd be good to know what kind of range his powers are." He said.

"Big, that's all I know."

"If he's outside the walls then that's good at least." Karu said.

Comet watched Nyla and Veli for a while before returning to the main living area.

Wolf nodded.

Comet laid down on the couch and glanced over at the two of them talking. He tried to doze off.

" No they aren't exactly corpses. They are living people taken over by this virus that blocks out the intellectual part of our brain." Nyla answered.

Comet slept for half an hour before he woke up and remembered he had to fix the drainage grates in the wall. He got up and went for his tool box quickly, pulling on a jacket and heading outside.

"But once they're fully turned there's no way to cure them? If it is just blocked there could be a way to unblock the connections in the brain. If the connections are severed then that's a different story." Veli said

" The virus eats that part of your brain. It becomes swiss cheese.

"That makes sense why it's not reversable then." Veli nodded.

Comet brought a small handgun with him just in case and went to the outer wall of the Haven. He unscrewed one of the grates as the base of the wall, which was bent out of place. He hammered it back to being straight again and screwed it back onto the wall. He notice the second grate on the outside of the wall was dented even worse. He sat a moment and considered if it was worth going outside the wall.
