"I-I'd rather not talk about it." Colton said softly.

The two brothers followed after her.

Riley didn't move at all. It was given to him by Kro so he had nothing to fear.

"We can't help you if we don't know what's going on." Rhett said.

"Once we're out in the woods we need to stay silent." Char said

It sucked up enough blood to make him feel a bit dizzy and then it stopped. In the green stem he could faintly see the streaks of his red blood moving through the sapling. It let go of his hand and the sapling's stem started to widen very slowly.

"Not now." Colton growled.

They nodded. "I can do that But i'm not sure about FlameBrain here." Dragon said.
"Oh shut it. Yagato!" his brother said.
"Make me, Lucas." He huffed.

Riley just sat there and watched.

"Why not?" Rhett asked.

"All of you are already failing at doing that." Char said.

The sapling started growing so slowly he barely noticed it, but it was still growing and changing nonetheless. It let go of his arm completely.

"Because I don't want to!" He said.

Luke rolled his eyes.

Riley fell asleep as he waited and his blood loss made it easier.

Rhett sighed and fell quiet, not asking any more questions until they got close to the house.

"Maybe so many of you carrying Riley's blood should've been foreseen as a bad idea." Char said.

When he woke up hours later the sapling had fallen onto the floor and grown into a small tree that stood somewhere between 4 and a half to 5 feet tall.

The house appeared in the distance.

"What do you mean. Yaga said.

Riley looked at it. He walked around the tree slowly.

Rhett sat up and watched the house get closer.

"Well you all know how your father is. Not an exactly ideal one." Char said.

Its branches seemed to move and sway to follow him as he walked around. The leaves rustled softly.

Colton stopped at the forest edge. "why is everyone here?" He asked.

"You can say that again." Luke said. "He ditched my mom before I was born. All I was ever told is that my father was a demon and I was an accident."

"Are you in there, darling?" He asked.

"Riley called them." Rhett replied.

"I'm very sorry about that." Charlotte said.

The tree changed and morphed. The trunk seemed to cave into itself and two branches thickened and angled down as the tree started to take the shape of a person. The bark changed into skin until there was a young girl sitting on the floor of the room. She looked 11, maybe 12 years old. She had raven black hair and bright green eyes like Kro had, but her facial features more resembled Riley's.

"Why though?" He asked.

"Don't be. My anger and hate helps make me stronger, but that doesn't chance the fact that family is still family. Love for them will always remain." Luke said.

"H-Hello?" Riley said.

"We need their help." He said.

"Just because someone is your blood does not mean they deserve your respect and love." Char said.

"Hello." She replied, looking up at Riley. She stood up slowly, wobbling on her legs before she gained her balance.

"For what?"

"No it doesn't but we do owe our powers to our father. I may have died long ago, had it not been for them."

"Do you need help standing?" Riley asked his parental instincts kicking in instantly. "Or...maybe clothes first." He said.

"To stop Doom." He replied.

"Do any of you share the same mother?" Char asked.

"I can get used to my legs if you go and get me some clothes." She said, standing on her own. She took a few steps until she felt more sure of herself.

"I don't think that's even possible."

"I few of us." He said. "Mostly demons." He said.
"My younger sister is." Yaga said.

Riley nodded and walked to the closet and pulled out some clothing. "So...uhm, what is your name?"

"Well we have to do something about him, and we'll need all the demons we can get." Rhett said.

"I had a sister once but we had different mothers." Char said.

"I don't have a name. Not yet anyway." She stared at him.

"We'll need more..." He said.

"What happened?"

"Well..." He said as he handed her the clothing..."Who are you?"

"I don't think there are much more in existence that will fight for our side."

"She lived out her normal human life and never came back as a demon." Char said.

"Your daughter. I thought that was obvious." She replied and took the clothing. She looked over the black tights and large dark blue sweater she was given before putting them on, almost looking like she was drowning in the sweater but she liked it enough. "Thanks."

"We need more if we want to win though." Colton said.

"Oh, that's a shame." He said.

Riley just kind of swallowed. "Well...I didn't know if what I was seeing was true or some sick game my mind was playing on me." He said softly. He smiled softly seeing her in the sweater, his eyes tearing up. He hugged her suddenly. "You look like your mother..." He said.

"We could use you with us." Rhett said. "Please come back."

"I'm actually surprised she didn't become a demon." She said.

"Well I would hope so, that's kind of how genetics work, doesn't it?" She hugged him back.

"I-I don't know if I can." Colton said.

"How come?" Yaga asked.

Riley cried in response. He gripped her tighter.

"Because you don't want to?" He asked. "Why wouldn't you want to return to your family? We are basically family you know."

"She always got herself into trouble, did the bad things, manipulated guys into doing what she wanted..." Char said. "All I ever did was keep my head down and do what I needed to."

"That means I also look like you though too. Has she been dead long?" She asked.

"I know that!" He said. "It's just...what if...I'm not wanted anymore."

"Huh, that is strange." Luke said.

"No...Not even a day yet..." He cried as he held her close.

"Not wanted?" Rhett jumped down off the Colton's back and turned around to face him. "Kro left because she thought it would bring you back. Riley, Charlotte and I went out searching for you day after day, even in the middle of the night. Of course you're wanted!"

"I guess she had her good qualities. I sat in an asylum for 6 years and she came to visit me without fail twice a week." She said.

"And what would she think of you right now?" She asked.

"But...I messed up...so badly." He said.

"Why where you in an Asylum?"

"That I'm pathetic and in need of a hard scotch on the rocks." He chuckled and kissed her forehead.
