Guardians (RP thread)

Lei sat silently looking at Sam as he didn't get an answer. "You guys seem busy, I'll get out of your hair." Lei stood up.

"No, eat up." Ajax groaned from the couch. "You need to eat and heal, all of you." He said as he sat up and pushed a Zorma off his face so he could breath easier.

( I thought I posted this earlier but I guess I didn't."

" I made pork roast with bake potatoes and green beans." Sam said still looking at Fallon the sharp noise she heard didn't help settle her suspicion.

"Yum," she sighs.

Lei sat down again and took a plate, looking over at Ajax.

Ajax sat up. "I'll be right there." He said.
"You should rest more." Rayyan said. "You need to rest." He said.
"Sush. I need to eat too. I need the lipids from fats to regenerate my blood cells." Ajax said as be rose slowly from the chair.

Sam watched all of them carefully. " don't you have a person to excort?" She asked Rayyan with a small glare.

(Rayyan had already gone out the door though....)

Eli had just sat there eating quietly and listening to everything

Fallon grabs a small amount of dinner, ignoring them.

(Shhhhhh.)

Rayyan rolled his eyes and disappeared with a whip of the wings that sprouted from his back.

Ajax just sighed and got up slowly off the couch before he walked over and sat down slowly

Sam looked at everyone. She could read all their minds except fallon's...

(She has a terrible problem with reading minds without permission. lol.))

Stop reading other's minds...it's rude." Ajax scolded her silently.

I'm reading. I'm just seeing if I can get into them. I can't get into fallons. she told him.

"Maybe she likes her mind private. Some people naturally have walls up in the mind to protect themselves. She will let them down in time." He told her.

this feels different... Sam mumbled she couldn't figurenit out. But the high pitches tone she heard every time didn't settle her at all.

Fallon could feel someone trying to get into her mind, but she didn't bother looking around. The only one able to do it out of the four of them was Sam, and she knew Sam didn't have the capabilities to break down the barriers she erected. She hides a small smirk.

Stay quiet, try not to act weird or unusual. Lei was thinking to himself as he ate. That one's Fallon, I'll have the learn the names of everyone else soon.

Eli's thoughts became a bit cloudy as he stopped thinking too much and just focused on eating. He tuned out the world around him without realizing it and his body seemed to absently run on autopilot.

Ajax just ate his food in silence.

Lei continued eating in silence and finished his food quickly, leaving his utensils on the plate and leaning back in his chair.

Sam just sat there watching everyone. No one was talking just eating.

Lei seemed to watch Sam suspiciously, as if he was catching on that she could read people's minds.

Sam wasn't reading any one. Just trying to figure out why do they only talk when there is trouble.

He looked back down at the table-top before getting up, pushing his chair back in and going into the living room. He noticed the books on the shelf under the window and reached for one as he sat back on the couch, looking over its cover and putting it back to pick out another.
