"I don't think all of them will. Especially not Conner" Eli said

"Give it time." Griffin said.

Spear spun his like a ninja. His left arm hung limp from when earlier Griffin sliced it open.

"Want me to go easy on you? Looks like you have a boo-boo."

"Please girl." He said laughing. "No girl I should be going easy on you!"

She shrugged. "If you say so." She gripped the spear before swinging it towards him.

He dodged her attack and jabbed her in the leg.

If you want to hurt her or rough her up, I don't mind BTW xD)

She hissed in pain and tried to stab at him, feeling uncertain and shocked. How in the world had she winded up fighting a scary looking dude with spears? And did she even stand a chance?

Spear dodged it. He smirked.

She gritted her teeth, stepping back, feeling anxious.

"Com on Eli, let's head home." Griffin chuckled.

Spear stood back away from her and threw a large net at her. It wrapped around her legs closing her together.

She yelped as the net dragged her to the ground. Jules fumbled with the net, trying to untangle her legs.

Conner stirred, finally acknowledging the thuds he though he'd just been hearing in his sleep. Sitting up and running his eyes in frustration, his eyes widened in surprise upon seeing the fight. "What hell is going on?" At first he wasn't sure what to do, but decided helping Jules get untangled would be first, then slapping the shit out of the dude would come next. Conner yanked the end of the net, pulling the man towards him and threw a kick at him before crouching down to help Jules.

The net started to get tighter the more she struggled.

spear jabbed Connor with his spear. "Just go back to sleep."

Her eyes widened as suddenly, Conner was there beside her, trying to help. "Conner..." When Spear jabbed at him, Jules tried to yank at the net. "Leave him alone!"

Conner winced as the spear cut his skin, pulling his arm back as he looked up at Spear. "First of all, fuck off," he began, standing up, "second of all, who the fuck are you, and third of all, what the fuck are you doing here?"

"And what will you do about it? If you don't be good, Spear will slice you up into bits." He laughed. He spun the spear and hit Connor in the gut throwing him back away from him Jules. "All I want is Griffin, or that little brat. Give me what I want and I'll let you two go, safely."

"Over my dead body! What kind of deranged psychopath are you to go after a little kid and a guy who has enough problems as it is?!" Jules snapped at Spear, trying to stand up.

"That can be arranged." He smiled. He lifted his spear.

Conner winced as he was thrown backwards- was that like some kind of greeting here or something? He was sick of it, nonetheless. "What do you ever want with them?" He regained his balance.

"H-He's the guy who kills Badger! Remember when Griff told us about the girl he loved and her kid? This jerk face is the one who's responsible for Badger's death!" She grimaced as pain shot through her leg as she tried to stand. She faced Spear. "Go ahead, but I won't sit back and let you ruin my friend's life."

"What, else do I want with them? I want to kill them!" Spear laughed. "That damn kid has been number one since he was 10. He's a natural at hunting Mechs. Unril he came around I was the top dog. I'm not gonna be beaten by a fool like him!" Spear growled. "And I'm not alone!" He whistled. From the surounding trash heaps more men climbed up and laughed. Each had a spear on their back and all had a bow and quiver of arrows. "What do you call a small spear? An arrow!"

Conner would've made a sarcastic comment, but seeing the men climb out of the trash heaps shut him up. Backing up a little, he instinctively moved in front of Jules, though he was sure she could more than handle herself.

"You're seriously jealous of a little kid? And you just want to kill him for that?! What a pathetic bastard!" Jules glared at Spear over Conner's shoulder.

Eli nodded, "Alright, let's go"
