Soul Takers 2.0

Kro narrowed her eyes and grew a large barrier of trees, branched and vines out of the ground to block the demons from getting to them

"Let's hope Rylee, Colton and Kro get back soon." Charlotte muttered.

The demons tore throguh them.

A second spike ripped through the ground.

Charlotte jumped out of it's way quickly, trying to follow the energy of the spike and trace it back to Doom.

Kro groaned in frustration and grew more to block them

It stopped at the tree line.

Colton groaned and sat up. "I-I'm fine..."

"Good, cause I could really use your help." Kro said, tangling some of the demons up in the plants to keep them still.

She followed it towards the treeline, looking around cautiously

A black spike came from the shadows and tore her cheek.

LS roared as his feet got caught in shadows and he fell to hi side. The ground shook as the monster body crashed to the ground.

Colton stood and roared. At his roar most of the demons turned tail and ran. Of the few that stayed he slashed at them with his claws.

"Thanks." Kro said, sighing in relief.

She dodged it and kept trying to sense Doom

Colton nodded.

The shadows started to wrap around LS. LS roared and kicked and thrashed against the shadows.

A roar ripped through the forest and all shadows vanished, all but Doom, who stood by the end of the tree line near LS.

Charlotte turned, seeing Doom. "What do you want with us!?" She yelled at him.

"Should we go follow Rylee?" Kro asked

"Yeah, climb on." Colton said.

"You're death!" Doom laughed.

A monster came ripping from the tree line. It's six eyes locked onto Doom. The six horns where dropped and the beast, Rylee, ran at him.

Charlotte watched Rylee and ran over to LS. "You alright?" She asked

Kro nodded and jumped on. "Hopefully Ry's already there."

A white blast shot in the distance. "yeah, he's there." He said.

LS groaned. "I'm still sore." He tried to stand up.

Kro nodded. "Doom's there too."

Rhett tried to move so he could watch, seeing the white flash. "Rylee!"

Charlotte tried to help him up

LS stumbled to his feet.

Rylee saw Rhett. "Do not move." He said.

"Not like I can anyway..." Rhett muttered

"Any way we can help?" Charlotte called to Rylee

"Stay, out of my way." Rylee replied. "I don't want to crush anyone." He said as he slammed a hooved foot into the ground. It shook and rumbled. Doom laughed.

Charlotte nodded and nudged LS to moved away from Rylee.

Once Kro and Colton got close enough she jumped off and ran the rest of the way herself, going over to where Rylee was.

"You slick little bastard! You waited for me to leave." He snapped to Doom.

"Well off course. Now be a good little demon and run along, so I can collect souls." Doom smiled.

"Who's souls?" Charlotte wondered out loud.

Kro grew thick vines from the ground trying to trap Doom in place

The vines grew around him but Doom's form shifted and just passed through them.

"He's a Shadow Kro, he's not able to be contained..." LS warned.

"Then how do we deal with him?" Kro looked back at LS then at Rylee

"Simple, you burn the shadows away." Rylee growled. "Colton remove the others from around here...I'm moving to Tier 2." He growled.

(Demons have 7 Tiers to reach, 7 being the full demon form. Most demons will never go pass Tier 2.)

Charlotte nodded, moving away from Rylee but closer to Doom. Her hands and eyes started glowing white.

Colton grabbed the others and moved them back to the tree line. Rylee lifted his head and opened his maw. White light started to pool in his mouth.

Kro got out of Colton's grip and stayed not far from Rylee
