"Shy, and quiet." Scar said. "She doesn't have much of a personality right now." He said.

" well maybe she does. You just haven't seen it." Gabby teaef him a little.

"Doesn't matter to me." He said as he started to go back to patrolling.

" really? It doesn't matter to you?" Gabby asked.

"Not really, not now." He said. "She's safe in the camp and thats all that really matters."

" really?" She asked. " a camp full of people who don't like outsiders?"

"I trust my mother to no let anything happen to her. I asked her watch her while we left." Tadoda said.

"Most of them may not like outsiders, but none of them are brave enough or stupid enough to hurt the girl. Gen will also make sure she is safe there." Scar said. Let us get moving." He said as he started to walk back, checking the boarder as well as looking for signs of the monster.

Gen followed. " still there are a lot of people with sway about her staying that don't like outsiders."

"And there are lots of us with power who would love her to stay." Tadoda chuckled. "I am the deputy, and I think you forget how kind the leader can be."

" yes. He can be kind. But he also had the safety of the clan to think about." Gabby answered.

"I don't think that small girl could do any harm." Tadoda said.

" I don't think so either. But others might not see as she is." Gabby responded back.

"Then I will deal with them." Scar told her, glancing over his shoulder. His blinded eye shifted over her as he looked up and down her. A soft blush grew over his face, before quickly vanishing.

" I'll try to help too as much as I can. " gabby told him not noticing he glanced at her. She was focused on keeping up with the men.

"I appreciate the offer." Scar said as they reached the end of the boarder. "well I see no sign of the beast." He growled as he placed the blades back onto his back.

" hopefully it was just passed through." Gabby said still looking around.

"Hopefully it went back to the city, I don't want it down here. I don't wish it to go to any of the clans territory." He said.

" agreed." She nodded.

He nodded. "Back to the clan?" He asked.

" sounds good to me." She nodded.

Tad nodded and lead the two of them to the camp. They walked into the camp and warriors shot glares at Scar.

Cheza was sitting in her cabin alone. She was afraid to go outside by herself.

" wow." Gabby mumbled seeing the glares.

Tadoda brandished his sword and a few of the glaring clanmmates looked away.
Scar walked over to Cheza where she sat on the porch of her cabin. "Hey, you okay?" He asked the young girl.

" people look mad at me." She answered.

Gabby watched them from the distance.

"Nah, they aren't mad at you." Scar said sitting next to her. "They are mad at me."

Tadoda stopped by Gabby and smirked a bit. "You like him, don't ya." He said.
