She shrugs.

"I can't sleep either. I hear the dead, I smell them too. Hell I can even feel them when they step on the ground."

"You want me to sing you to sleep?" she asks with a small smile.

"No." Loki said. "I've gotten use to not really sleeping."

"That's not good. You need sleep."

"Yeah I get some. When I'm not working." He said.

"...Not working...?" she asks.

"Uh, guarding the house." He said. "Hey you wanna see something cool?" He asked.

She nods.

"Follow me." Loki said as he started to ascend the stairs.

She nods, and follows him.

He takes her up three flights of stairs and they end up on the roof. There is a chair and a blanket out there.

She looks around.

Loki chuckled. "Don't look around, look up." he said gently pushing her head up.

She looks up.

Above them hung millions and millions of twinkling stars.

She gasps. "It's beautiful!" she whispers, her eyes wide with wonder.

"You took me for a Stargazer." he smiled. "Go ahead and sit down. "I'll go get a second chair."

She sits tentatively on the chair, still looking up.

It's only a couple minuets later that he walks back up with a second chair and sets it next to her. "They're beautiful." He said.

She nods, tearing her eyes away from the stars to look at him.

"I always like to come out here at night. It's soothing. My senses kind of get lost looking up at the stars."

She smiles. "Whenever you want, or need, I can always dull them for a bit. It just takes a small song."

"I don't like that. "I have too many people depending on my sense to let them dull, or fall into a deep sleep." He said.
