" it's just hard to believe. " Ryder mumbled.

He smiled. "Come, help me make dinner." He said.

Kathryn wasn't paying attention to anything completely zoned out.

Stein walks into the kitchen. "What shall dinner be?" he asked. "Kathryn, what should dinner be?"

"What do we have that we can cook?" she asks.

"instant mashed potatoes, corn, some dried sliced beef and fresh carrots." He said. "Kathryn?" He said.

"That would make a nice meal," she comments.

Kathryn was looking at the wall. She was remembering something.

"Okay...Maybe Sheppard pie." he said. He walked up to Kathryn. He gently held her hand. "Is all okay, my daughter?" He asked.

Kathryn jumped away from his touch gasping. " I died!" She cried. " stein I died!"

"Woah, calm down Kathryn...Slow down and explain." He said softly.

" the day you found me I was shot. I don't remember by who but I remember the gun sound and me falling still." She panted out crying.

"Calm down my dear. Shh..." Stein said as he held her hands. "You are alive now and that is all that matters.
