Hoss jumped onto the roof from another roof. "Ah, Saber." He grinned.

Karu stayed still, waiting for Wolf to wake up.

A little later Wolf woke and yawned.

"Morning." Karu smiled at him and sat up.

"Morning​." Wolf smiled. "Sleep well?"

"Definitely." Karu smiled back

"Good." He smiled and kissed him.

Karu kissed him back before getting out of bed.

Wolf stood and stretched. "I'm still human...Hoss must be alive."

"Seriously?" Karu started to look nervous.

"Yeah...I should have gone back to Wolf at dawn." He said. "Everything will be okay Karu."

"What was your name before they called you Wolf?" Karu asked.

"William." He said "Well that is my English name." He said. "My real name is Tohopka. It's Hopi for Wild Beast. My dad said when I was born...I didn't cry, or make a sound, that I was silent...My mother said it reminded her of a legend of a beast that hunted but never made a sound, it had no roar and it's victims had no scream." he smiled.

"That's a nice name." Karu smiled back.

"Thanks." Wolf blushed a bit. You can call me what ever you want." He smiled.

"I'll keep calling you Wolf for now, that's how everyone knows you." Karu said.

"Yeah, okay." He smiled. "I'm hungry...what about you?"

"Yup." Karu nodded and started to pull his clothes back on.

Wolf smiled and pulled his clothing back on too.

Karu left the room and went down the stairs to the main living area of the haven without waiting for Wolf, feeling it would be a bit awkward if they showed up together in front of the others after last night.

A silver pickup truck drove through the streets of the city beyond the Haven walls, running over the odd zombie or two that came at it. It slowed down as it neared the Haven.

Ryder stood next to saber. " Let Luke go." He said bluntly. " He's just a kid."

Nyla wondered around looking at her hands. She feared herself... her new powers scared her. She hardly ever slept now. Her skin fair and smooth, hair perfect. She was the idea of beauty. She missed her green blue eyes. Yes violet eyes were cool and Unique. But now she started to hate them. With her new gift she wasn't afraid of leaving Haven anymore. Since she couldn't sleep walking cleared her mind. Nyla started walking inside haven but eventually the walls felt to confining to her, she started to venture outside the wall. If a zombie attacked her she would just take its energy causing it to turn to dust. In her own zone she wasn't paying at to where she was at or what was around her. She didn't hear the hum of a car engine near her. She easy to engrossed in her own thoughts about her self to hear beyond her own thoughts.

The truck slowed down to a halt less than 10 feet from her, the driver noticing almost last minute that she wasn't a zombie like the others. The driver's side door opened and a dark-haired man stepped out, watching her with wide eyes.

A zombie bit Nyla all she did was touch it and the thing crumbled to the ground within a couple of seconds. She let out a huge sigh the bite no longer on wounded her. Nyla healed herself. She stopped in the middle of the road looking up at the sky. " Why?" She screamed up at the sky. " Why did you give me this power?" She crumpled to the ground sobbing. " Why did I sacrifice myself... I'm a monster... he was right."

The man walked over to her quickly. "Miss, are you alright?" He asked, kneeling beside her when she crumpled onto the ground.

" Don't touch me." Nyla flinched away. " I'm fine." She said trying to calm her sobbing. While she was around the group sue had to keep a mask on that she was okay. That she was calm and learning to handle her new powers. But out here she could let the mask fall down. " No..." she said looking up at the man. " I'm a monster. "
