Dammit. The only option left is to let them shoot me somewhere not vital as a warning . . . Ugh, why did I come up with this?? Dammit!! Skylar thought, gritting her teeth. She knew Jonas wouldn't do it. He couldn't. But Tad . . . She met Tad's gaze. The shoulder . . . Somewhere where it hurts like hell but won't cripple. Jonas wouldn't be happy, and neither would she, but at least she wouldn't be tortured or killed if accused of treason. "Do it!" She hissed. "It'll keep me from doing it myself!"

Tad growled and got her idea. He shoved Jonas to the side. He ripped the gun from his hand and fired a round at her. It skimmed pass her face as he fired a second round that embedded itself in her shoulder.

Relief went through her as she saw Tad understood. Then pain burst into her as the first bullet grazed her other cheek and then the second embedded itself into her shoulder. A cry of agony ripped from her throat as she fell to her knees, clutching at the gunshot wound in her shoulder that had torn flesh and muscle and was now starting to quickly leak blood.

Tad growled and reloaded, giving her time to get up and start running.

She quickly shoved to her feet and hurried out of the alley, gritting her teeth on pain and trying not to moan in agony.

Tad fired shots after her missing her. He snarled. He grabbed Jonas' hair and started to drag him back inside.

She hurried down the street, away from the person who was watching, and collapsed into another alley, leaning back against the rough brick wall and wincing as she glanced down at her bleeding wound. "Dammit . . . I better be considered hard core after going through that." She hissed through clenched teeth.

(I was just thinking, what if her brother found out what Tad did to her and goes after him!)

"I have to go after her!" Jonas begged.

"No!" Tad roared. "If they see you going after her in anyway, all of this will fail."

"You shot her!" He roared.

"I hit here where it would do least amount of damage!" Tad said. "She'll heal, but gain a scar."

That's what I was thinking!)

She held her shoulder, gasping softly. "Guess I need to call Ash . . . He won't be happy." She grimaced, starting to sweat and feel a bit light-headed. Her hand shook as she reached into her pocket and dialed her brother. "A-aah Ash . . . I-I need your help . . . I kind of got shot . . . "

Jonas sat down holding his head in his hands.

After receiving a roar of outrage and reassurance he would come pick her up immediately, Skylar hung up and slid her phone back in her pocket, slumping back against the wall. "Damn . . . I better not bleed out by the time he gets hers . . . " she muttered, closing her eyes and breathing heavily. Jonas, I'm sorry I put you through that. she thought silently, biting her lip and clenching the material of her jeans in her fists.

Hogarth was walking down town when he saw Ash drive wildly past him.

Ashton finally arrived and found his sister nearly half conscious from blood loss. He immediately drove her to the hospital. After she told him what "happened", he growled and clenched the steering wheel. "I'm going to kill that bastard, Tadoda."

Hog walked into the Bar and learned of what was happening. "Aye. I remember how those two boys completely broke our laws." He said. "I also remember how terrible you where when you found them." He said looking to Tadoda. "So is this young lady helping us what?" Hog asked.

She was taken into the ER, where the doctor removed the bullet and stiched up her wound, also patching up the cuts on her face and giving her medication through an IV. She stared up at the ceiling in her hospital room. Ashton sat in a chair, his hands folded together thoughtfully. Sky wanted so badly to tell Ash what had really happened and to get him to join her, but she was too afraid of his never wavering desire for vengeance.

"Sort of." Jack said. "We offered her reffugee here, if she needs it." Jack said.

"Alright then. Tadoda, you better watch yourself. That older brother of her's has a reputation for vengeance almost at terrifying as your own." Hog warned.

She follows right after him.

Tad kept swimming away from her laughing.

She just chuckled, still following him.

Tad swam to the surface and gupled down air before diving back down quickly.

Kanon dives deeper than Tad, staying under him.

Tad watches her as she swims under him.

She turns around, so she was looking up at Tad as she swam.

Tad smiled, his eyes flickering over her bare body. He dove down to her.

She began rising.
