Soul Takers 2.0

Ignace woke up with a start hearing Riley's call. He got up slowly, groaning at the pain in his shoulder before walking over and opening the door. "You're back!" He looked surprised.

"Well... A-anything th-that A-Alec could do I sh-should be able to l-learn. Al-Also I should be able to d-do th-the things my Gr-grandpa Eli can do. A-according to wh-what he s-said when I was y-younger, I should a-actually become... st-stronger than h-he ever was... and h-he k-killed the d-devil and took his pl-place in more th-than one dimension." Adri answered

Kirin looked towards the stairs when she heard Riley's call

Amber bit her lip thoughtfully, "Well your brother can phase in and out of places I suppose, do you know what your grandfather could do?"

"He c-could do m-many th-things..... I'm not s-sure of the l-limits of his p-power" Adri said

[*Drops head onto desk*]

Amber chuckled a little, "Well did you get to see him do anything? I don't really know what to work on" she smiled sheepishly. "I suppose I could haul bits of the elements down here and see if you can interact with them, or we could try to see how quickly you can move or how you judge your opponents movement"

Mehra tried to look past Riley's head at Ignace, Kirin, Amber and Adri

Kirin tilted her head curiously, "Well, hello there"

"Hi, my name's Mehrabah." She said.

Kirin smiled and walked up to her, "Kirin" she greeted and held out her hand

Mehra reached over Riley's shoulder and shook Kirin's hand. "How long have you lived here?" She asked

Kirin chuckled "Not long, my friend an I arrived here- oh, maybe a few days or a week ago"

"And how do you like it here?" She asked

Kirin thought for a moment, between the attack and the twins, she didn't want to startle Mehra too much. "Well there are times that certainly keep us on our toes, but I know that those here have my back" she smiled

"I'll be staying here for the foreseeable future. I don't have anywhere else to go, so." Mehra shrugged

Kirin smiled sweetly, "I'm sure you're more than welcome to stay"

"How many are here?" She asked

"Well..... m-my gr-grandpa st-started off as a c-class of d-demon kn-known as a S-Soul Taker.... s-so anything o-one of them c-can do.... I sh-should be able t-to do. I'm n-not s-sure if th-that class of d-demon exists in th-this world th-though...." Adri replied. "B-because n-none of th-the d-demons in the r-rebel group fr-from my original d-dimension seem to h-have their own v-versions in this one."

"Yeah, sorry about that." He said as he walked up. "Has Colton returned at all?" He asked.

"No, and Charlotte's still out there somewhere." Ignace replied

Kirin tapped her lip thoughtfully, "Wellll... I'd say maybe 10 or so"

"Really? Well there may be... I mean, your grandfather was here, right? And there were... some guys..." Amber shook her head, dismissing the thought. "Well we can figure it out" she smiled. "We could start with disappearing"

Riley sighed. "Alright, let me see if the trees have seen her." he said.

"Not too crowded then." Mehra smiled. "Can you put me on the couch please?" She asked Riley.

Adri shrugged, "M-my gr-grandpa came h-here from a different d-dimension though"

Kirin smiled simply

Amber knitted her brows together in deep thought. She shook her head, "Well is there anything you can think of that you'd want to try to work on?"

"No wonder they built this house as big as it is. New people keep showing up." Ignace said to Kirin. "It's kinda odd that there aren't tons of demons here already."
