It beeped with the correct sound. "Very good." Tad said right in front of her.

"I'm sorry my dear, but Hogarth is a stubbornly loyal man. He'd never do such a thing against his wife, and Tad is much too smart for that." Chase sighed. "But...Hog's son...he's weak."

"Maybe..." Zak said. He stood up. "But I'm too tired to think about this right now. You wanna go get a drink?"

"Oh hush." Tad snarled weakly. He groaned in pain a bit as he picked up Mia and laid her next to him in bed.
Mia looked over at him with sad eyes. "Taddy..." She whispered cupping his face with her small hands. "Where you going to Nevaeha?" she asked softly.

"I'm glad you're still alive though," Kanon says with a weak smile.

"Do you even have to ask?" Cyrus grinned

"I didn't mean Hog or Hog's son, although I might consider his son. I mean the guy you were trying to ambush before Hog came along." Val explained.

"Come on. I'm sure the Bar has everything out cause of all the members in morning of Ivan." Zak said.

"Ah...I like what you are thinking." Chase said. "Yes. that will do nicely." Chase grinned and kissed her.

Tad looked at Mia. He shook his head. "No, No baby girl If I ever take a very long trip. I'm not going to Nevaeha" Tad said as he cupped her face back. He brushed some hair out of her face. "I'm thinking I'll be going to a different place called Lelleh."
"Oh..." Mia said. "Will I go to Lelleh?" She asked.
"No! No, little one, you will never go to Lelleh, promise me that." He whispered and hugged her tightly.
"I promise." She said softly into his ear.
"Okay sweetie...go play with Yuki, I need to Talk to Kanon alone. And behave for the girls." Tad said letting her go.
"Okay!" Mia said hopping down off the bed and leaving the room.

"Let's go then." Cyrus smiled.

Kyleigh just stood there listening to Cyrus and Zak before going and sitting down on the couch after they left.

"I doubt he'll recognize me as a Saber. I've got nothing else to do today so I could start now." Val said after she kissed him back.

Zak nodded and lead the way.

Hog cam in and walked into one of the rooms only he had a key to. He unlocked the door and walked in but forgot to close the door tightly.

"If you wish." He smiled.

Ashton saw her and narrowed his eyes, but slowed his walk.

She gave a sigh of relief and nodded, glad to know she had improved.

"I know the bar where the gargoyles frequent." Val went off to get her coat.

Cyrus followed quietly

Kyleigh heard the door creak and followed the sound. She went into the room after Hog.

"Good, try there." Chase smiled.

The room had totes of guns and gun cleaner. Hog was sitting with his back to the door, cleaning a gun. He was talking softly. "I really do. If you where still around Bud, then...maybe all this would be right." Hog sighed.

He lead him up into the basement of the Bar and then up into the ground floor. Lianna was bartending.

"You are a quick learner, faster that Jonas." He said as he flicked the light on.

Valentina smiled back at him as she left. She reached the bar around the same time Zak and Cyrus did but through the main door.

Kyleigh stood quietly by the door and listened.

Cyrus smiled at Lianna as he walked up to the bar.

"Hey guys. What is it I can get for a tonight?" Lianna asked.

"I don't even know what I'm doing anymore Ivan. How can I keep them all safe and still get out of this?" He asked. She could see a photo sitting next to Hog on the ground. It held an image of two young men. One looked like Hog, but he still had two good eyes. He was holding a small dog in his arms. The other person was new. They had pale skin, covered in freckles. Shoulder long curly hair hair that was pulled into a bun. The other man's hair was stark red. He had golden eyes and was kitten of some sort, but it was a large kitten.

"Red wine and coke please." Cyrus said.

Val walked up to the bar, her black high heels clicking on the wood floors, drawing attention. She wore short black high-waist shorts, a loose white shirt and a leather jacket paired with sunglasses which sat on her head. She stopped a few feet down the bar from Cyrus and Zak, recognizing Zak immediately, and waiting for Lianna to take their orders so she could order.

Kyleigh couldn't see the photo, being blind and all.

The girls leave. Kanon watches Tad.

She gave Jonas a nudge and smirked teasingly.

"I'm Sorry." Tad said softly.

"Hey I'm not that bad." Jonas defended.
"I never said you where. You two are two different types of fighters." Tad said softly. "I'd say that Skylar, you are a more like an assassin where Jonas, you are a Forward man, or a vanguard."

" Give me one of the dragon's Blood." He said. Zak looked over at Val. She looked familiar but couldn't place her.

"Coming up." Lianna said. "What can I get you miss?" She asked Val.

(Changing the man Hog's talking to name from Ivan to Jean.)
"I mean...I can't even make up what I want for dinner half the time, and yet I still have to lead the gang!" Hog sighed. "It would be so much easier if you and Mae where still around to help..." He pulled out the next gun and started to clean it. "I even broke my promise to you Jean...but it's not like I had much of a choice! Your boy...when he came to the hide out after you died...his eyes...they where full of fear and hate, I was terrified of what he would do if I denied him the ability to join the gang..." Hog sighed and shifted. "But I have to admit, Tadoda has grown very strong over the years. Hell he's even more terrifying now than he ever was... I still see the child in him too... some things he never grew out of. He still has that knack for being with animals..." He chuckled.

She gave a nod, a bit pleased at being compared to an stealthy, lightning-quick assassin.

"But you have a lot more training to do." He said.

A knock came on his door.

Skylar glanced over at the knock on the door.

Tad walked over and opened the door. Bones stood there. "Am I interrupting, Child?" He asked in his sly voice.

"Rum and coke please." Valentina replied to Lianna.
Cyrus looked over at her, gazing her up and down but not recognizing her. "Hi."
"Hi." Val glanced over at them, smirking a bit

Ky listened, silently moving further into the room

"There's no need to apologise."

Zak watched her closely.

Lianna nodded and went to get the drinks.

"About two weeks ago, I went to talk to him at his house...The kid has a hawk trained to attack people it doesn't know. The thing almost killed me if Tad wasn't around. And apparently that's not it. He's got a pack of wolves and a few Pumas too." Hog chuckled. "He really is your son, Jean..." Hog sighed. "I just wish you could be here to see him."

"Yes there is." Tad sighed. "I should have let you drive...I wasn't in my right mind." Tad said. "I was, No, I am angry..."

Val took her drink and walked over to sit next to Cyrus. "How are you two?" She asked

"We are well." Zak said. He was still a little skeptical.

"How are you?" Cyrus smiled at her and replied.
"I'm well. Not a very busy night huh?" Val looked around the bar. "I wonder where everyone is, this place is usually a lot more packed."
