She wrapped her arms around him and tugged him close. "I'm sorry . . . " she said quietly. "I wish I could do something to help . . . " I'm going to kill Chase. I'll make him pay for everything he's done.

"Make something up." He mouthed to him.

Tad nodded. "Kanon...when is it they plan to give Ivan his ceremony?" He asked.

Cyrus looked back at Val. "If your friend doesn't want to come it can just be us two." Val said. "Okay, where to?" Cyrus nodded.

"...I'm not sure, but you should be able to go when the time comes."

She wrapped her arms around him and tugged him close. "I'm sorry . . . " she said quietly. "I wish I could do something to help . . . " I'm going to kill Chase. I'll make him pay for everything he's done.

Zak shook his head. He didn't trust this.

"Don't say that...you know I won't be getting out within a week...and, they won't keep his body for too long." Tad said.

Jonas hugged her back. "I-I just kind of want to be alone for a bit...okay?" Jonas asked.

"Who said you can't get out? As long as you have someone looking after you, you can get out."

"See you around then." Cyrus smiled to Zak, following Valentina out of the bar.

Skylar felt her heart ache. Part of her didn't want to leave him, because she knew how it felt to suffer alone. But another part of her knew how it felt to want to be alone. With a small nod, she pulled back from him. "Of course, I understand." She stood up and went to to the door, hesitating. Perhaps she wasn't enough to ease his pain. Perhaps nothing was.

"I can't feel my leg Kanon..." Tad said.

Zak huffed. "Dumb ass...I'll give him a bit before I follow." He grumbled.

Jonas got up with her. He kissed her neck softly. "I'll be okay...I just need to clear my head." He said. He let her go. As she walked out of the room she saw Tad leaving the bar. Something inside her seemed to beg her to follow. What on earth could Bones have given Tad in the newspaper, and why was there some blood on it? Part of her had to know.

After departing with Jonas, she turned and saw Tad. She eyed the bloody newspaper in his hand. She glanced around, then silently began to trail him. What was it? Where was he going?

"You'll be fine, Tad. We can just tell them you want to go out for one day to say goodbye to your friend that died recently. I'm sure you'd be allowed out in a wheelchair."

Cyris and Val walked out of Gargoyles territory and to a bar just on the edge of Sabers territory. The bar was mostly empty and she led him to a back lounge room.

Zak followed them silently. When he was in the bar some more women hit on him.

Val and Cyrus sat together in the lounge talking for a while before eventually they started to make out.

After departing with Jonas, she turned and saw Tad. She eyed the bloody newspaper in his hand. She glanced around, then silently began to trail him. What was it? Where was he going?

Tad was walking out of town He had his arms tucked into his coat. He walked at a moderate pace.

Zak watched them out of the corner of his eye.

Val broke away and talked to the bartender a moment before he gestured towards the stairs. Val grabbed Cyrus by the hand and led him upstairs to some hidden rooms.

Zak grumbled and quickly started up a conversation with one of the women.

They went to a large dark room, empty except one large couch and a table. Val pulled her jacket off and she and Cyrus resumed making out.

Zak kept his conversation going and kissed the woman. It took her by surprise, but she returned the kiss. Zak then grabbed her and threw her onto the bar counter and started to make out with her. He had to find Cyrus, something about this didn't feel right. He'd never seen that woman and the Dragon Den before, and if she really wanted to bed Cyrus the Den has actual beds and showers for people who need a one night stand. It all felt wrong. Zak thrust his tongue down the whore's throat and she moaned, her legs locking around his legs. She went to wrap her arms around his neck. Zak grabbed her wrists and threw her arms onto the table, pinning her down, making sure to knock over a glass and break it so the bartender had to stop them.

There was a thump that came from upstairs. Val had pushed Cyrus back onto the floor and held a knife to his throat, waiting for Chase's goons to show up and help her.

Chase's head men walked in from a secret tunnel. They where the same men that came after him earlier. One of them smirked.

Come on man! Fucking notice! My girlfriend is gonna kill me if she hears about this at all! Zak thought fretfully as he pulled the woman's arms together above her head and held them with one hand. He moved the other to the woman's inner thigh.

Sky used her spy skills and followed closely, yet undetectable.

Tad just walked and walked. He reached the edge of town and kept walking. The buildings where replaced by trees and a massive stone wall.
