CHase grinned. "Oh, it won't be long for you to wait." He kissed her deeply pulling away and leading her.

"Yeah...that you are." Zak said.

"You should know to never do that." Tad said. "Come here." He said motioning her to come.

"Tad. . . What is this? And why?" She asked quietly as she stepped towards him.

"I almost hope they kill me or Hog will if we ever get back." Cyrus said.

Val followed closely behind him.

"What kind of pies do you make?" she asks.

"I guess I have to explain now..." Tad sighed as he pet the big cat. "This is a bone Garden, a place where my sins become clear." Tad said. "I do this because, I may wash the blood away and lose it's sight, but I must never forget." Tad said as he sat on the fake stump. "Each one of these bones is from a person I have met in life. Those that hang parallel to the ground, are friends I have lost. Those that hang perpendicular to the ground are those I have killed." He said with a soft sigh. "I have enough bones in this garden to make 5 skeletons and then some..."

"Damn right Dad will kill you." He said.

CHase pulled her up to the room and opened the door. "Hello kiddies!" He smirked.

"Well...I like cheesecakes and berry pies. But Taddy likes to make a chocolate, bourbon pecan pie." She said.

Cyrus jumped when Chase walked in.

"Hah, look how scared they are." Val hiccuped.

"So I see." Chase smirked and walked in. "How are we doing, comfortable?" He asked.

"Tad . . . You have memories to remember all the people. You don't need to torture yourself like this . .. You have memories to help you remember. You don't need this."

"Not really." Cyrus replied. "Looks like you got a monkey to patch up my friend here instead of a real doctor."

"Anything savoury?"

She shook her heads.

"That's the problem...I've been losing memories slowly." Tad chuckled sadly. He pulled out the pack of smokes and took one. He lit it and took a drag. "I haven't been right...or safe since the mansion burned down." He blew out the smoke. "I have to do this...to remember." He said.

"Oh, I'm sorry! But my gang isn't run by a billionaire who can afford to pay for bail money, and doctors and housing!" Chase said as he walked up and crouched down. "But I've had a bit of training, so we can see what I can do!" He smirked and grabbed Cyrus and hooked him to a chain on the wall. "I'll need you to stay back though and just watch kiddie." He smirked and snapped his fingers and three men came into the room and held down Zak. Zak bucked and thrashed.

Cyrus tried to pull on the chain to get free. "You hurt him and I swear to god..." He tried to kick at Chase.

She glanced up at the tree and the bones, and shivered.

"And you'll do what?" Chase asked laughing. He walked over to Zak and kneeled on his chest holding him down. "Now, let's get those bullets out, shall we?" He smiled darkly pulling out a knife.

It was then she noticed one rib bone was smaller than the rest, much smaller and it hung parallel with the ground.

She swallowed. "A child . . . "

Val crossed her arms and watched Chase, almost regretting shooting Zak.

"Hijo de puta." Cyrus muttered angrily, glaring at him.

"My sister..." Tad sighed softly.

Chase just laughed and took the knife and cut into his shoulder. Zak screamed out in pain.

Cyrus kept struggling on the chains, using his whole weight trying to break it.

"I'm sorry Tad..."

"It is not your fault." Tad said as he pulled out the twine and hung up Ivan's Rib. "Come on, let's get you out of here." He said.

Zak screamed and thrashed as Chase pulled out the first Bullet. The chains held Cyrus tight.

Please do. she thought, giving a sigh of relief. She nodded quietly.

"Alright, what's your favourite meat?"

Cyrus grew tired after a few minutes and he just hung a bit so the chains held his weight as he watched Chase.

"Pork Chops and Carrots!" She smiled.

Chase pulled out the bullets from his shoulder. Chase sat back. "Look at all the blood you got on my floor. I guess I should close this wound up so you don't keep bleeding." he said as he held out a hand and one of the men handed Chase a blow torch. Zak could barely stay awake, and groaned in pain.
One of the men forced Cyrus to watch.

Tad hung the bone of Ivan's and started back.

Skylar walked quietly with Tad, the image of him hanging Ivan's bone and the tree still fresh in her mind. Finally, after walking for a while, she asked: "Tad . . . is there really nothing to do about Chase right now? I know you'd said it'd better to wait and become stronger . . . But he hurts people every day."
