Soul Takers 2.0

Doom hissed and looked at him.

Riley looked back to him. "I have a name!" Riley snapped.

Neph pulled herself out of the smoke and glared angrily at Doom.

"I know you do. But since you're being rude, I really don't care. Riley." Alec spat back.

Damien smiled watching Alec's interaction with Riley

Riley smirked 'That's actually not my name." He said. "You see here on this world, a name is very powerful, and well to be honest, you can get control over someone but uttering their name, the name of their soul. But only a few can read the name of a soul." He growled with a smile. "And when you mix a soul's true name with a bit of magic and natural law...well you get forces that obey nothing but the law that was spoken to it's name."

Doom laughed at the little girl.

"You're laughing now because I can't hurt you." Nephele said.

Alec rolled his eyes, "I don't think you'd want me to say your true name." He looked directly at Riley with a serious but unreadable expression, "After all I am allied with your enemy."

Doom just smiled.

"And I do not understand why." He snarled. "We can help you too." He said.

"No. You really can't." Alec replied

"Then leave his dimension." He snapped.

"Why leave if what I'm searching for could be here?" Alec asked while rolling his eyes. "Ugh whatever." Alec looked at Doom and his form started to change, both of his eyes became fully red and horns formed on his head. He grew a bit in size and his skin became a bit darker and even took on a scaly appearance near his horns. His fingers became claws that were very sharp. The form wasnt a fully fledged demon form quite yet, but it was definitely a start toward one. He teleported over to where Doom was trapped and tapped his "prison" with a black mist forming around his claws. As he did, it surrounded Doom and Alec teleported again. When he teleported, he ended up bringing the mist and Doom along with him. This resulted in effectively freeing Doom.

Nephele went back inside.

Char and Rhett were talking quietly in the kitchen.

The tree's roots shot up and went to grab Doom again.

Doom sneered and shot his hand toward Riley. A spike shot from Doom's hand for Riley's head. Doom's eyes glinted happily. Before the spike could sink into Riley's Skin a giant hand blocked the spike. Jenjiki, grunted in pain but paid it no mind as he protected his father. The other half demons walked up next to Jenjiki and growled. "You wanna fight?" Riley snarled. "Alright, I'll give you a fight!" he hissed as his voice became that of fire suddenly. The ground cracked under Riley as he shifted forms. He grew to 3 times his normal height and horns sprouted from his skull. A pair spiraled and a second pair lead back. His hair became long and stiff, like that of spikes. His feet became sharpened cloven hooves covered in thick fur. He grew a tail that extended to about 10 feet off him. The end was the stiff spike like hair he had grown. Fangs grew and his ears pointed. He teleported to in front of his children and roared flames pooling in his mouth.

Alec glanced over at Riley and just shrugged. "Looks like someone is overcompensating."

Damien smiled, "Now, now... don't you think you're a bit hasty? What's with all of this rage? The boy only wanted to show you a bit of his ability."

"You should eat something, you're looking thin." Charlotte said.
"Haven't been feeling all that hungry recently, I guess it's from stress." Rhett replied.
"If you want to leave, go back to living with other normal humans you can, we can arrange that for you."
"No it's fine, I would rather stay here, I wouldn't know anybody out there."

"You take my prisoner, threaten me and then tell me I shouldn't be so angry!?" He snarled.

Colton was asleep on the couch.

"Excuse me? I didn't do anything. That was all the boy." Damien said, "But I am proud of him. You see... threats? Well they aren't really threats if you will make good on them later. They're promises."

Alec rolled his eyes, "Are we done here? I'm ready to go."

Damien nodded

Alec covered Doom and Damien in the mist again and they disappeared from sight. They were teleported to Damien's lair.

A voice in the corner spoke up, "Well I'll be damned... you two really are dumbasses. I can't believe you really brought Doom back here."

Alec glared at the figure in the corner, "Don't speak unless you're spoken to, grandfather."

Eli glared out at Doom, "Hey maybe I'll do you a favor and destroy another piece of you, how's that sound 'invincible' one?"

Adri froze up for a few moments and then said, "Um... uh... w-wh-what n-n-n-now?"

Char went back over to Colton to check his condition while Rhett went upstairs.

"And to Think I thought I killed you too." He growled. "Guess next time around I will have to be more careful." he huffed.

"We prepare for war." Riley said as he tried to calm down, but he couldn't. "I will need more help for this." He said.

Colton was healing slowly.

Eli smirked, "Careful because I know how to actually hurt you. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll die soon enough."

Adri nodded slightly and went back to her normal self

The area in front of the house started to look distorted and a figure appeared and then disappeared just as quick in a matter of seconds. The area went back to normal

Char sat beside him and waited worriedly.

Riley walked over to the area of the house and sniffed it.

"Please, tell me then how you plan on killing me." He said.

Colton groaned and shot up. "RILEY" He gasped panting in a sweat.

"Riley's outside." Char said. "You shouldn't move too much."

"Is he alive?" Colton asked quickly.

"Seems so." Charlotte nodded. "Looks like they're fighting but honestly I don't know what's going on."
