Echolight sat next to Tad.

Scar sighed. "alright fine." He said.

Tad sat there. "I'm sorry I worried you." He said.

"Please don't run off like that again." she told him gently.

"Thank you, now come on lets head home." gabby said tugging at his hand.

"I had to go get my kids. I mean I know that Ian isn't mine but...I'm sorry." Tad sighed.

Scar sighed. "Should we leave him alone to walk back though?" He questioned.

"I know you care for them, you watched them grow up I don't blame you." she told him touching his hand gently with hers.

"Fine we wait but not close so we can hear them." gabby told him.

"Echo, I'm so worried about Ian." He said as he held her hand and kissed it.

Scar nodded. "I'm just worried about the fact that a gatherer came down from the ruins." Scar said as he sat down.

"I'm worried too. means they are running our of resources there." gabby nodded.

Cheza sat next to them humming to herself.

"Why he seems to have lots of people looking after him." Echolight said.

"That's what I was thinking too." He said.

"That's not the problem, Echo..." He said. "How to you help someone when you can reach them." He asked. "He spends more and more time away from the clan each week."

"I think that girl he rescued might keep him more anchored and what about Hawkfeather? its totally obvious."

"we fight over them."Cheza commented playing with a stick. "It's bloody."

"We need to understand these monsters more if they are coming here." gabby frowned.

"I don't know if that will be enough though." Tad sighed. "He's a lot like Fire was. Nothing really holds him down..." Tad sighed. "I miss him, ya know."

"what do you think I've very trying to do." Scar said. "And you are not allowed to fight them until you have more training!" He told Cheza

" I know how to kill." cheza told him, "The nice one trained me in secret and then let me escape. that's when you found me." she told him.

Echo looked at him, "I think she might ground him more. and i know you miss him." she said placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.

Cheza, it's more than just that." He sighed. "But we will discuss this later."

"I promised him that night I would keep his kids safe but I failed at that. Ian has become so broken." He said.

" You can fix everything Tad." Echo voiced.

"more then what?" she asked pilling a leaf off the stick she found.

"I only hope you are right " he Whispered as he kissed her forehead. "And I hate to say it but we may need to stop seeing one and other. I think a few people are starting to catch on." He sighed.

"More than the fact you can fight." Scar sighed.

"What's wrong with that?" Cheza asked.

"I don't want that." Echo voiced her opinion.

Tadoda sighed. "I don't want that either, but because of the laws we can't be with one and other." Tadoda said.

"Nothing but life is more than just killing monsters." He said.

"The laws are stupid, im half stormclan." Echo commented.

"It is?" cheza asked.

"I agree but until they change, and they won't change, then we are breaking the laws." He said.

Scar nodded. "It is." He said.

" Not the first time people broke it. " echo frowned not liking the idea of being apart.

"So no more killing monsters?" Cheza asked.

"I know it's not. But your a clan leader and I'm one of the oldest clan families..." He said running a hand through his hair.

"I didn't say that." He said.

" I understand why." Echo nodded.

" So we can still kill monsters?" She asked.

Tad looked over at her. He kissed her.

"At times, yes." He said.

Echo kissed him back.

" So how is life not just about killing monsters?" Cheza asked.
