Zoey followed silently, "You should know, my body was just about cut in half"

James stopped and looked down, not saying anything.

Zoey sighed, "That's bad isn't it"

"If I try to put you back into your body you'll just die again, so yeah that's bad." He sighed

"Try being here for years. Beast will let you out once it's safe." Soul said.

Artie watched nicky waiting for the right moment. His left hind leg was broken and limp. His left side was all cut up and bloody. His one eye was blind from the wrath of Doom, who dared not to kill Artie for he needed the power.

Zoey flinched, "So I'm done for...I don't have a chance..." Zoey started crying, "It's not fair! I was hospitalized my whole life and when I finally get to go home I die! I didn't even get to have a single friend and I never knew what love was, it's not fair!!!"

Emil sneered, "Artie better hurry up or I might just be tempted to blow this place"

Nicky turned and ran her hand through her hair in a bit of frustration and tried to calm down, Emil was always disappearing

"I'd stop you. You destroy this place, you destroy me." Soul said. "This place is the only reason I'm alive."

Artie called out softly at her.

Emil's eyes glinted red and he laughed evily, "You act as if I care"

James moved over beside her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You don't need to have fallen in love or dated to feel like your life wasn't worthless." He said

Nicky turned towards Artie with surprise and then sadness when she saw the state he was in. She walked towards him, "Artie?"

"I was hospitalized!!! In a coma most of my life!!!" Zoey cried harder, "It's not fair!!"

"I know it's not fair. It never is, my life used to be horrible to. But there's nothing left for you here now but sadness. On the other side there are people who care about you and waiting to see you." He said

Zoey shook her head, tears running down her face, "I don't want to go"

"And you don't have to. I'm just saying it's much better there." James said

"So there is no way...wait...y-you can touch me" Zoey looked up at him, "Can't you help me?"

"I just said I'm a reaper." He replied. "Of course I can touch you I'm half ghost myself."

He backed away awkwardly. He looked down with a snort.

"You will once Nicky is here. Because then She too will be connected to me and if I die, you both do." He said through narrowed eyes.

"Is there any chance I could become like you?" Zoey asked

"No, sorry. Reapers are born not made." He said "And I'm actually half human..."

Emil's eyes widened, "No, she cant enter here!" He ran for the door.

Zoey flinched, "Please....anything..."

"Dont even try to leave." Soul said watching him run. He followed.

"I don't know...I can't return you to your body, you don't want to pass on and if you stay here other reapers'll just chase you and they won't take no for an answer." He said

Rett left the arena and started towards where the house used to be. He walked through the ruins and wondered where everybody else was
