Rhett looked in the directon Rylee spoke of and tried to listen for if he could hear Doom

There was nothing to hear but the air felt cold, like death.

Rhett started walking ahead in that direction

"Woah! No. I go first." He said.

"It feels really cold around here." Rhett said, slowing down to let Ry go first

"Yes, he's near." He said.

Rhett nodded, planning to stay back and out of the way once they found Doom.

They air got colder and the trees became more dead.

Rhett looked around. "Is he here." He asked Ry

Kode stood up while trying not to react to the pain

Rylee nodded.

Gehenki watched him. I have herbs at my home." He said.

Rhett stepped back towards some of the dead trees and half hid himself among them, watching the area closely.

Rylee's arm burst into white flames. "Where are you Doom?" He growled.

Rhett sat down on a dead log and waited, watching Rylee

There were no demons in the area, but there was bones that where brittle like hot glass.

Rhett held his breath, trying to stay as quiet as possible

There was still no reply. "Come out an face me!"

"Maybe he's not here..." Rhett said, standing up again

"No...It feels wrong..." he said.

Rhett walked out from the hiding spot and over to Rylee, still glancing around.

Something dark grabbed Rhett.

Rhett stopped, feeling it grab him and tried to look around at what it was.

It suddenly ripped Rhett away from Rylee. It quickly covered his mouth.

"Rylee!" He tried to scream even with it covering his mouth. He struggled against it.

By the time Rylee noticed it was too late. Rhett rested next to Doom who chuckled. "Hush, young man. You give away where I'm hiding and a little black spike will rip that demon in half." He whispered pointing to Rylee. There was a small black tip of something in the ground just under Rylee. As he moved the spike moved along with him, staying between his legs so if it where to project up it's cut him in two. "It'll be so fast, he won't even realize what happened until he's dead."
