Soul Takers 2.0

Iroga looked shocked for a second before he ran at Colton again, ducking underneath the heads and coming up around Colton's other side. He jumped up and dug his claws into Colton's flank.

Colton roared and fell to the side roaring in pain. A third head grew and bit into his paw.

Iroga growled in pain but stayed on. He scraped at Colton's stomach with his back paws.

Colton hooked his claws into his left thigh.

Iroga roared and finally let go, falling back and trying to get away

Kirin turned towards the commotion on the roof "Iroga!!" She spun back towards Archer, "You listen to me! your daughter isn't going to respond to your hatred, go and talk to h=the poor girl!" She shrieked before disappearing in a rush of wind going straight for the roof

Colton roared and slammed a clawed fist into Igora. He then raised his other hand. Branches grabbed the arm Colton looked back at Riley kneeling on the roof. "That is enough." He growled. The branch grew quickly pulling Colton into the air.

Iroga stumbled back before crouching down to rest, licking his scratches.

The branch threw colton into the ground. The ground gave way under him and cracked.

Kirin appeared beside him, "Iroga, are you alright? Well of course you're not, but I mean are you going to be okay?" she asked anxiously, giving him some space and eyeing each of his wounds

"Yeah I'm fine." Iroga shifted back to human

Kirin relaxed a little, "That's a relief" She gave him a small smile, still a bit irked by what had occurred. "Do you think you'd be able to help me and try to tear apart the stone casing?"

"How are we supposed to break apart stone?" Iroga wondered. "Maybe we could find tools."

Archer still arched the lance and let loose, a giant wave of energy heading straight for the mansion in a blinding flash of bloodied red light.

"God damn it" Kirin cursed. "Okay, yes, we'll need some tools. Make sure Charollete is alright and see if she knows where any are. There's a girl I met earlier that I'm going to need to ask to help me with that" she said with a quick gesture towards the lance.

Kirin leeped off of the roof and blasted the lance with the strongest gust she could muster to try to deter the lance or through it off course

Charlotte was already hacking at the rock surrounding Kro, sending blasts of light at it.

The lance strayed slightly off on course but appeared to hit another shield, just as it did earlier which was met with a high pitched scream from the porch below.

Rei panted, blood pouring from her nose and ears, her arms charred and burned from the excess energy of the lance.

Kirin flew to her side, "Easy girlie, easy!" She wrapped Rei's arms with soft, cool air and let Rei rest against her

Rei pants, the excessive energy needed to block the shots had nearly destroyed her insides, her own life force being used to create the shield. "D-Dad..." She chokes, her eyes rolling back in her head before she seemed to pass out.

Kirin hold her carefully, sighing "Do you understand yet?" She said to Archer. Her voice soft and solemn. She carefully picked Rei up and stared to turn away from Archer

(Archer is like 5-10 miles away lol, his range is absurd)

Archer growls, hearing the wind speak and turns away, fading into the air.

Rei clenched to her, an odd energy emanating from her, much stronger than it should have been in her weakened state. It was much like Archer's though it was pure and clean, yet still scarily powerful.

(Hahaha, oh gosh)

Kirin suppressed a shutter at the level of her energy as she carried Rei inside. "Easy sweetie, you're gonna be alright" she said encouragingly. She laid Rei on the couch and examined her burns more closely

Rei whimpers, her body not exactly healing but instead starting to emanate more and more energy, "W-We have to fight him" She squeaks in fear.

"Just relax for right now, he's gone for the time being. Take the time to heal, you've used a ton of energy" Kirin warned

Rei whimpers and latches to Kirin, shaking as the energy dies down.
