Mortals and Undead (2.0)

"Pumpernickel and Maple. But pumpernickel was a really fat goat so we called her Plumpernickel a lot." Wolf said. His tail wagged at the mention of them getting goats. "I would love that, but I think they'd be afraid of me." He said sadly.

Cutter watched for a moment before he turned. "I need to head back out before Henri comes looking."

" why would they be? They put livestock guardian dogs in with goats all the time." Nyla said to him. She looked at cutter and frowned. " I wish you could stay..." She said softly before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. She felt it was safe to show him affection around these people.

"I'm just... so big and unnatural looking ." Wolf said as his eyes followed her to Cutter. Wolf's tail wagged slightly.
"I know but last thing I need is Henri coming down here and catching me talking. I'll come back later." He said as he picked her cheek and left.

" true, we don't want to get you into trouble." Nyla nodded watching him leave. She looked at Wolf and saw his tail wag. " What are you so happy about?" She asked with a grin.

"What? Can't a guys be happy?" Wolf asked with a smirk.

" yes, but you wagged your tail when you saw me kiss Cutter. Which only suggests you're happy to see what you saw. Am I close?" Nyla asked him.

"Is there something wrong with me being happy for my friends?" He said.

" no there isn't." She told him shaking her head. " Back to the goat's I don't think they would be scared of you not if you feed and care of them."

"I would love to help take care of them if we got the okay to get some and keep them here." Wolf said as his tail wagged again.

" I would too. I think it would be good for us to be more sustainable and independent from having to scavage food as much." Nyla nodded agreeing.

"It would be for a better future. I wonder if there are any chickens left out there we could snag." Wolf thought. "haven't seen any, but I normally am to busy killing Zombies to notice the small stuff."

" maybe next time outside the gates I should tag along since I can heal myself and take the remaining life force from the zombies, I don't have to worry to much about zombies. So I could look for those things for us " nyla suggested.
