"Try it." Atlas said offering her his arm.

Nyla took a deep breath touching her bare hand to his forearm.

Atlas just stood waiting to feel something.

Atlas felt a sharp pain and Nyla pulled away quickly. " Okay your armor skin doesn't protect you from me." She frowned looking down.

"Wolf you're human..." Karu said.

"Yeah... it was bound to happen." Wolf said.

Atlas groaned. "Yeah." he said. Shame... he thought.

"Why?" He asked

" here I'll give it back." She told him softly.

Atlas nodded.

"Hogarth's powers cancel my own." he said.

Nyla touched him healing the little grey spot she made on his arm. " I was hoping someone was immune." She whispered sadly.

"It's okay." He said.

"So it's because we're getting closer to the Haven?"

Nyla nodded walking away she patted wold on the shoulder. " just think of this like a new moon." She smiled up at him. " usually new moons you spend the say with me in the infirmary and I brush that messy hair of yours."

He nodded smiling to Nyla. He turned and looked at Karu. "Karu, I want you to be careful when you go into the haven." He said.

"I will." Karu nodded

" We'll all be safe " Nyla smiled.

Wolf smiled softly. He squeezed his hand.

Atlas nodded. Aye."

Nyla stood beside cutter. She slid the gloves she store from an old store back onto her right hand.

Karu walked a little closer beside him

Cutter hugged her.

Wolf pressed closer as well.

Nyla hugged him back putting on a smile.

Karu got lost in his thoughts as they kept walking

Cutter smiled and pulled back.

Wolf watched him. "You okay?" He asked.

Karu just nodded, still thinking

Wolf nodded and kissed his cheek.
