Kro sat down on the floor next to her bed and sighed

Riley sighed and he walked into the kitchen and started to cook up dinner.

Kirin made a soft growl, thoroughly unconvinced, "Well then why don't you come down for some food"

Amber clapped her hands together in excitement before bringing out a couple of targets. "Alright, you ready?"

"I don't eat." Lockwood said. "I don't have a mouth."

Rhett sat up on the couch and looked over at Riley. "How did it go?" He asked, noticing Kro came in.

Ignace walked inside after Riley and stood in the kitchen.

[Well fudge *Face palms*]

Kirin just about smacked herself in the face at the thought of her own stupidity. "Right, sorry, would you like to come downstairs?"

"it went alright..." He said. "She just needs to cool off a bit." He said.

"Okay." LW nodded

"What's her deal anyway?" Rhett asked

Kirin reached out her hand to him to guide him down the stairs

LW followed carefully, trying not to bump into anything

"it's complex." Riley said he pulled out some veggies. He didn't want to have to explain his and Colton's past and how she was afraid of it repeating. "She is upset for upsetting Colt."

"Her and Colton did seem at odds right before he ran off." Rhett said, getting up slowly and wincing a little

Ignace started to make some more coffee.

Charlotte went upstairs to check on Kro. She forced the door open, startling Kro.
"What the heck?" Kro said. "Get out!"
"Nope." Charlotte walked over and sat down beside her. "I'm here to tell you that you're a bitter ungrateful moron. We've spent days looking for you, Riley nearly lost it and you're up here being sour about coming back. Now you better put on a smile and come downstairs or you're not getting breakfast."

Kirin helped him down the stairs and caught a whiff of the coffee

"Which way's the couch?" LW asked when they got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Careful kid." Riley said gently. "And yeah, they are but I'm sure they will be fine soon." He said.

"Do demons get sick? I'm not sure how contagious this virus I'm getting is." Rhett asked.

After a few minutes Charlotte came back downstairs with Kro following her.

"We can but it's not common." Riley said as he cracked some eggs.

"At least you've got lots of flu medicine, it's starting to help." Rhett smiled at Charlotte as she passed with Kro towards the kitchen.

Kro sat down at the kitchen table opposite to where Riley was and watched him for a few moments.

"Good morning." Riley said to Charlotte and Kro. He set the eggs aside and took some Potatoes and started to cut them up for cooking.

"Good morning." Charlotte said as she sat down. Kro didn't say anything.

Ignace started handing out mugs of coffee as Rhett came to sit up at the table as well.

Riley nodded in thanks for the mug and kept cutting.

"No sign of Colton yet?" Ignace asked, sipping his coffee and glancing over at Riley

He shook his head. "Nothing. Not even the trees can find him." He said.

"Strange, where would he have gone?" He asked
