[Oh yeah my church did that we even had giant bouncy houses once.]

"I'm sorry." Li said.

"No it's not your fault, it's probably a lot harder on you than it is me." Rett said. "But judging by the fact that he was a reaper, it's most certain he's in a better place."

Li nodded. "I just wish it had been me not him..." She sighed.

"They weren't after you though." He said

"I know I just wish I could have saved him."

"Yeah. I was right beside him and I still couldn't save him." He looked down

She nodded.

Rett sat down beside her against the tree trunk of the tree house and started petting Boshan, glancing over at Mavi.

Mavi caught another fish, quickly diving his head into the water and pulling it out with a fish in his jaws. He flicked his head back and tossed the fish onto the land where a few others were already piled

Li watched. "He looks funny..." He said.

"Yeah, not everyday you see a wolf catching fish." Rett smiled a bit.

Mavi tossed another onto the rocks, making that now six fish. He waded out of the stream and shook his legs and face dry, wagging his tail happily. He went over to the pile and picked up the fish by their tails before padding over towards Li and Rett.

Li smiled.

"Hey." Mavi greeted, putting the fish down and sitting.

"Hi." Li smiled sadly.

He looked at her a bit concerned by her sad tone. He went over and pressed his nose lightly to her arm
