Gang Wars RP

Skylar felt her heart skip a beat and she swallowed. She took the violin case and set it aside, then turned and took his hands, holding them tightly in hers. "Up until I met you, I had no one I could rely on or talk to besides my brother." She said quietly. "And I'm know I'm not . . . the kindest or the most patient, though I always try my best to be. And before I met you, I was known for being quiet and when I talked, I had a sharp tongue. I didn't like anyone or care for anyone really but Ashton." She quirked a small smile. "But then your nosy arse burst into my life, and for some reason when you talked to me, I felt like I didn't have to be tough and suddenly I liked talking to someone. I suddenly liked being around someone. Usually I was so cold and quiet towards others. But when I'm with you, things are different." She shifted on her feet and looked into Jonas's eyes. "You're one of the bravest and strongest and kindest people I've ever known. I...I really like you, Jonas. As a friend, and . . . maybe even more." Color blossomed on her cheeks but she pushed in in a firm voice. "You're special. You deserve to know that. And people are idiots if they can't see that and appreciate having someone like you in their lives. But I also want you to know that I'll be here for you always. If one day we're separated, just know that I'll always care about you and will always be here for you. I give you my friendship forever, and . . . and my heart. And since I'll always care about you, if our relationship grows . . . We can take it slow. We can watch it slowly grow and turn into something more. Something beautiful that should be savored in these dark times." She gave him a nervous smile. "I give my friendship, my time, and my h-heart to you, Jonas."

Jonas was starting to tear up as she talked. He took her hands and pulled her into a hug, wrapping her up tightly and close. He held her to him and shook slightly. "And because of that gift, I'll never leave you, or hurt you. I only want to be close to you...Skylar. After my mother died I kind of forgot how to care. I got caught up in the wrong crowd and broke who I was. I was only saved when Tad found me, but I was still just an empty shell dwelled in by hate. I didn't feel like there was anything out there for me, until I heard you playing, how beautiful, and sweet and sad that song sounded at the same time, I-it reminded me of myself, a happy smiling face hiding and dancing in the shadows. I had to know who could understand a song with such passion...then I found you. And that's all I ever needed." He said softly as he pulled away and he held her face. "And that's all I want." He said as he kissed her.

She felt herself starting to tear up as she listened to him. She hugged him back just as tightly, his warmth seeping into her bones and core. When he pulled back and looked at her, she gave him a teary smile and closed her eyes as he kissed her, pressing her lips back to his softly, her hands folded on his back where she soothingly rubbed his shoulder blades to let him know she was here for him.

After a moment Jonas pulled away with a smile.

Skylar was blushing, but smiling happily back up at him. Then she gave a pout. "Are you sure there's nothing I can buy for you? I'd really like to see you parading about with something I got you . . ."

"Then get me what ever you think looks best." He smiled.

She beamed, something she hardly did. "Alright, then. Let's see . . . "she started to look around, and after a big spotted a black and gray patterned scarf. She picked it up and wrapped it around Jonas's neck. "That'll do. You need something that'll keep you warm so you don't catch cold."

He laughed. "Okay then." He smiled.

She pulled him closed to her by tugging on the ends of the scarf. "It's very cold these days." She said, then smiled and pulled the scarf off to go up to the register to pay for it.

He smiled and grabbed the violin case and bought that after her.

As they walked out of the shop, Skylar wrapped his new scarf around his neck. "There." She said softly.

He smiled and held it tightly. "Thanks."

Nomvula ate her lunch quietly once the waitress brought it, not looking up at Kiba and Tsume until she was done. "Like the meal?" she asked

She squeezed his arm and glanced around. "Anywhere you'd like to eat?"

'"Any place that has good food." Jonas smiled.

"Yes...thank you, a lot." Tsume said. Kiba nodded as well.

Nomvula paid when the waitress came back for the bill and stood up, pulling her leather jacket on. "Do you have any gang-related tasks or roles yet?" She asked.

They shook their heads. "No we're honestly just Grunts. I think the only reason Chase brought us in is to scare people." Tsume said.

"Good, more time to work for me." Nomu grinned and started to walk out.

Tsume looked confused but got up and walked out with his brother.

The chief of police sat in his office. "Orville!" He called. "In my office, now!"

"Well, there's a nice little sandwich and soup shop down the street." She mentioned.

"Let's go there then."

She smiled and began to walk with him towards the shop. What they didn't know was that two hooded figures were following them.

He walked with her, his hand holding hers.

"Where do you want to go?" Nomvula asked. "There isn't another shipment until 6pm."

Orville got up quickly and went over to the chief's office. "Yes, sir?"

"Uhm?" Go?" Tsume asked.

"Close the door, and sit, we need to talk." Chief said.
