"Don't worry. I'll never let you get hurt." he said.

She gave him a small smile. "I always feel relaxed around you. I feel like a normal teenager." She said softy. "I feel . . . stronger. Safer. I hope this feeling isn't one sided."

"No way. I feel happy around you. And free." Jonas smiled.

"I'm glad." She smiled. "And since I feel that way when I'm with you, will you go to the lake with me after we get done eating?"

Jonas nodded.

"Let's go inside then." Nomu said and walked them over to the nearest store.

"Thanks." She smiled and looked up as their food was brought to them

The brothers followed her in.

"Oh wow this looks great!" Jonas said. He looked at the food hungrily.

She chuckled and began to eat, savoring her meal with Jonas.

"Is this warm enough?" She asked

Kiba nodded not wanting to talk with others nearby.

Jonas grinned.

A few members of the Sabers where hanging out near the Saber territory, two of which where smoking and the third drinking. (This is for Orville)

The next morning, the smell of food cooking, slowly climbed into Kanon's nose. The bedside next to her was cold, Tadoda was no where to be found in the bedroom, however on the dresser across from the bed, her clothes where neatly folded and set on top.

Kanon shakes her head, and sighs. She jumps up, slips her clothes on and heads downstairs.

Orville walked over to the group, dressed in regular clothes and a long jacket. "Got any extra smokes?" He asked them casually.

Skylar smiled at Jonas warmly. He was just about the only one who ever received that smile.

The one smoking offered him a cig after he looked him up and down. "Who you?" He asked.

The clothes where still warm from the dryer. Down stairs, Mia was sitting at the counter eating bacon, and waffles. She was dressed in a light yellow dress with pink leggings and her hair was pulled up with pink bows.Tad was standing at the stove, cooking eggs and bacon. "How do you like your eggs?" He called over to her, not glancing back at her. He had his hair pulled into a messy bun. He had a started cig stuck behind his ear. He flicked the pan, and flipped the bacon.

Jonas smiled back around an awkward bite of food.

She started to laugh at how cute and funny he looked. "You're a strange one, Jonas." She said warmly.

"How so?" He asked around a mouthful of food.

"Well, what I really meant is that you're special." She blushed.

"O-Oh..." he said as he swallowed Blushing as well. He smiled. "I think you are special too." He said.

"Scrambled," she says softly.

She looked away, towards the lake outside the window. "Do you really think so?" She said quietly, flushed.

"Of course." Jonas smiled.

Tad nodded as he cracked a few eggs. Mia smiled and waved to Kanon.
