"He told me about it but never gave it to me."

"Hang on." Jonas said as he reached into the bed side table and pulled a lazer pointer out.

She went and sat back beside him.

Jonas handed her the lazer pointer. "Now the trick is to listen." Jonas said.

"Okay." She said quietly, and took the laser pointer and gripped it in her hand, listening closely.

She nods. "Yeah."

"Who died in that one?" Cyrus asked

Valentina stood up and smiled back. "Took you long enough."

The old building made a lot of noise in the silence. As she sat there she could hear the steady breathing of Jonas. The floor creaked.

Mia looked down. "Okay..." She said. "I-Is he gonna die?"

The entire Garconelle family, besides Tad, their servents, and the some Sabers." He said.

"We ran into a pig on the way back." He said.

"Why's it so special?" Cyrus asked.

"Hog?" Valentina asked. "Did you find the guy you were looking for too?"

She shakes her head. "No. I'll make sure of it."

Skylar quickly flicked her pointer to the sound where the floor creaked, pressing close to Jonas.

"Becuase it's what started the wars between the gangs up again." Zak said. At the time, the fights where going down, and the gangs where actually in a bit of a peace between one and other. Tad's parents where hosting some of the higher up members of the Saber's gang. They where supposedly talking to stop the fights, end the gangs." Zak said looking over at him. "But some rouge Sabers thought the gangs needed to keep fighting and lit the place a blaze." Zak shook his head. "According to what Bones said he could tell from the few remains that where in tact, an assassin must have snuck in with the delegates, and killed them, before burning the place to the ground." He said. "Only reason Tad survived was because he was at School. No one even knew about their deaths, until the day after when Tad walked back here covered in ash and a few burn marks, telling Pop about the family being killed. Dad's thought that Tad probably slept in the ashes of the house that night."

"Yes, but Hog stopped us. That bastard didn't fall for my trap for him. Oh well." He smirked. "The hunt is no fun if the deer shoots itself." He chuckled.

"Are you sure?" Mia asked.

The sound for incorrect pinged through the air. She felt a cold breath on her neck and a cold hand touch her neck. Tad's voice whispered into her ear, "You're dead." He said.

"Anyone ever find the rogue Saber?" Cyrus asked

"I never took you to give up on revenge so easily." Valentina said, standing in front of him and resting her arms on his shoulders.

"No, They think that they too died in the fire." Zak said.

He held her chin. "Who said I have given up? I'm a cat who loves to play with the mouse before he kills it."

"Well then whoever they were, they were an idiot." Cyrus said.

"Maybe I could help out to? Beats sitting around here all day." Val said.

She stiffened and grabbed Jonas's sleeve right next to her. "Damn." She sighed, releasing her breath.

"Oh, but my dear, I don't want you Hurt." He said.

Zak nodded. "Yep.

Jonas chuckled. "It's okay. You'll get better in time." He said. The air shifted over them as Tad who was hanging to the rafters went back into the middle of the room. "Ready again?" He asked.

"Yes." She said firmly, determined to do better this time. She closed her eyes, not needing them in the darkness, and slid her finger over the pointer's trigger, preparing herself.

"Okay so we'll find a way where I won't get hurt." Valentina suggested. "Maybe I could lure the mouse out for you?"

"So that's a dead end then. We basically know all about it unless you still care to know who that idiot was. I guess it makes no difference if his motives were clear." He said.

Yawen left Nomvula and walked outside the warehouse

She could here the silence in the room. She could hear the voices of Hunk talking to Jack coming up from the floor boards. "Man! You are hammered!" Hunk chuckled.
"Please...! Dont be so loud." Jack groaned. She could hear the cot creek as Jack must have turned away from the loud man. The rafters groaned.

"Oh? You have my attention." Chase said looking at her.

"I guess...but parts of it just...don't make sense to me? Like there had been peace between the gangs for so damn long, but what happened to cause the person who started the fire to act in that way." Zak said confused.

Hog walked down the stairs and into the central meeting room where the two where talking. "I'm getting too old for this." He grumbled coming down the stairs.

Mia nodded and walked over to her grabbing her hand.

Kiba and Tsume stood up, Kiba sneezing loudly. "I think you my be getting sick brother." Tsume said.

Ashton was walking down a street, his hands stuffed in his pockets, his gaze cast down and narrowed.

Skylar breathed out softly and listened more closely, her hand tensing around the pointed.
