" I agree. But I don't think any one will know but us. He seems like a normal person" Ryder agreed.

Nyla decided to take a walk to clear her head.

"Nyla, let me walk with you." Cutter said as he walked up to her.

"He does, but it's not normal for someone to me missing a leg and not infected." She said.

" maybe he had a good doctor?" Ryder suggested.

" hey what's up?" She asked seeing him.

"Nothing, just need to stretch my leg." He smiled.

"I don't know he may believe it..."

" nyla is thorough on making sure wounds are clean." He said giving her some credit.

" I can understand that. " nyla nodded.

"True but it can still be hard to believe."

"Thanks." he smiled.

" how so?" Ryder asked?

" how are you feeling?" Nyla asked looking at him.

"With the limited medicine in the area it's hard to believe an amputation like that worked so well."

"Stiff and sore. This evening chill makes my bones sore." He sighed.

"Maybe we can make seem like nyla used her powers on him?" He thought. " hopefully count doesn't have an idea of when it happened?"

" yeah. It's stating to become winter..." Nyla nodded, ever since the outbreak she's hated the winter. Its been she's had to bury people not because of the zombie infection.

"Hopefully, lets just hope it never comes to that." Saber sighed.

"It just makes my joints sore, so I have trouble getting around, ya know, peg leg." He chuckled.

" wish we could find you a better prosthetic." Nyla said softly.

" I hope so too." Ryder nodded.

"Hey wood gets the job done. Once we are all safe and sound than we can build crazy inventions." He smiled.

Saber nodded and grew quiet.

" it still sucks that we can't have the quality of life we deserve." Nyla said bluntly.

"it does but that was bound to happen with the post apocalypse."

" it's been 5 years after it happened and we haven't even tried to find a way to stop it!" Nyla snapped looking at him. " I feel like I'm the only one trying to do something!"
