Soul Takers 2.0

[dang I'm currently trying to find another job. I finally got a hair cut today, last one I had was before prom like over a year ago so it got down to my shoulders]

(well I'm just trying to get enough money to pay off what I owe for college, which is currently about 4,800)

(working both these jobs with schedules that change every week kinda sucks, but i need the money so I won't complain)

[If I get this OSAP thing finally I'll have almost enough to pay for all my college before I even start]

(Wish I could say I was anywhere near that prepared)

[Well I took a year after high school to work full-time and get the money for it]

(I could have graduated high school a year early, but i stayed to do the free dual credit classes and everything. I have probably around 25 credits, 19 guarenteed through Ivy Tech, the rest from AP exam scores. I also have a few credits from the college I went to for a semester, but I'd rather not use those records as that severely damaged my GPA and everything. My problem was a lack of information. I was unaware of what my scholarship covered, unaware I wouldn't be able to access homework without online access codes from the books, unaware about the emergency loan i could have used for my books, and unaware the college gave me the incorrect student employment site. All of those were factors that made me be forced to drop out of college and be stuck in the situation I'm currently in. I believe that info should be more open to the students so that things like this don't happen. Had I not been unaware of so much because the information was hidden, I might very well have still been in college at this very moment. Either way I have a plan to eventually make it back, but it'll take a while.)

[Oh damn, my college has had some mess ups, like they sent me 3 different student ID#s so I didn't know which was the correct one, but nothing like that]

(yeah, ik it happens, but I don't think they should allow it to get as bad as it was with me. They can't always make sure everything is perfect but information can be made more public so students don't fall down the same rabbit hole I did. I hope that they fix that problem in the future)

Colton groaned in pain.

"Nephene!" Riley screamed as he ran after her.

"Do you want pain killers or something?" Ignace asked Colton

As Neph walked closer to Doom several trees around him stretched out their branches and tried to ensnare him.

Colton nodded.

The shadow sensed it and shifted out of the way. It looked back. "I thought I already killed you!" He snapped.

Ignace went back to the hallway to the closet and grabbed a bottle of pain killers. He got a glass of water from the bathroom sink and went back over to Colton. "These are extra strong." He said. "Should do the trick."

"You killed my mother and made my father very upset." Nephele replied and it seemed like the whole forest and all the plants rose up to try and capture Doom.

Doom kept dodging. It almost seemed like he would never be caught. But then a small flower root caught his foot.

Colton nodded and took them.

Luca was holding his brother's body. He saw Neph.

The flower root grew bigger and started to coil itself up and around Doom's leg. Neph grinned up at Doom.

"Get back to the house!" Char shouted to Luca.

"Then you come with!" He said.

Doom hissed and tried to warp away, but he stayed in place.

"NEPH!" Riley called as he ran up to her.

Neph controlled more and more vines and branches to surround Doom. They gradually started to tighten around him.

"Fine." Char helped pick up Luca's brother's body and carry it back towards the house.

Luca nodded and took off. Doom hissed and a shadow shot out. "You're going nowhere!" He snarled. The shadow pierced through Luca's shoulder and weaved through his other shoulder and it pulled him back Doom.

Where Char's missing arm was an arm made of light appeared and she tried to slice through the shadows pulling Luca. "Could use your help Riley!"

Luca growled and struggled.

Riley shook and roared. The roar ripped from his throat, sending a hot wave of air out. The trees lit into fire and the vines holding Doom became obsidian. Riley's skin grew red and fangs grew out and horns grew up. He roared in anger and pain. The shadow holding Luca was blasted away by the light. "I want everyone back!" Riley snarled, his voice dark and brooding.

Neph and Char both stepped back out of the way, Char grabbing Luca and pulling him out of the way as well.

Riley walked up. "What have you done?" He snapped.

"Oh, so you've figured out my little party trick?" Doom laughed.

"Reverse it!" Riley snapped.

"Oh if I where to do that, your friend would die." Doom grinned. "It's a great party trick, dont you think?"

"What trick?" Char asked.

"Oh, have they not picked up on it?" Doom laughed. "You hurt me and this one's best friend, takes my injuries." he laughed in a mocking tone as he pointed to Riley and spoke of Colton.

Branches and trees tightened around Doom even further. Neph stood still, expressionless.
