"Of course you can." He said.

“Why did you feel bad about touching me? And why were you surprised when I said . . . That I liked it?”

"I-I" he said. "I've never been with anyone before, this is new to me, and I've never had anyone like me before."

She pulled back and stared down at her hands in her lap. “Me either . . . This is new to me too.”

"All I know when I am near you is I wanna hug you, and hold you."

Skylar looked at him, her eyes softening. “Then do it, then. Hold me. And let me hold you.”

He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into his lap.

Kanon follows anyway.

She leaned up against him, blushing slightly as she laid her head against his chest. “Is this okay?”

Tad keeps limping his way back. He climbed the wall halfway to the gate of his home instead of reaching the gate.

"Yeah, This is fine." He said.

“Good. Because I like this a lot.” She wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs bent on either side of him. She hiccuped and sniffled.

Jonas blushed. "You like this?" he asked.

Kanon watches him.

Tad limped into the forest, disappearing into the dark.

She nodded and rested her chin on his shoulder. “I haven’t been this close to someone in years. I haven’t experienced this kind of warmth and softness for a long time. Not since my parents.” She murmured. “I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but I’m not usually the cuddly and sweet type.”

"You, not cuddly and soft, no." He teased.

She chuckled and pulled back to playfully flick his forehead.

"Damn it, Tad," she mutters. She follows him anyway.

Tad was walking slowly through the forest. A mountain lion saw him and came running over with a grumbled. It jumped on top him and knocked him over, rubbing against his body. Tad groaned as he pet the cat.

Jonas laughed lightheartedly.

“You’re the cuddly and soft one for sure.” She mused.

"Me, Nah. I'm stone cold!"

Idoya and Cyrus helped carry Zak into the car to drive him back to the Gargoyles base and back to Hog. Cyrus stayed with him in the back seat while the Abaroa twins sat up front, Fortunata driving.

She stuck her tongue out and shoved him teasingly, though became dizzy with the movement and swayed.

Jonas steadied her. "I think it's time you get some sleep." He said.

Zak was out and shook as he was moved along. He mumbled. "P-Please..."

"Please what?" Cyrus asked when he heard him, thinking for a moment Zak was waking up.
