"Uhm..." Jonas said. "We met in the park."

“Blondie here came up to me where I was playing my violin. Started talking and flirting, and I wasn’t having any of it, yet I was intrigued by him too. Amused by our banter.” She glanced down a bit shyly at her plate. “After that we kind of just kept running into each other . . . I was surprised by how kind and encouraging he was. It awed me, and made me want to protect him.” She looked up, her grey eyes fierce with love and protection.

"Now, that's some cute shit." He smiled as he shoved a spoonful of food into his mouth.

She blushed furiously and glanced at Jonas to see his reaction.

He was bright red. "I thought Shivery was dead." Dmitri laughed.

She flushed slightly at Jonas’s red face. “Maybe for some it is.” She said, forcing herself to cool down and return to her meal.

"Well, good for the two of you." He smiled.

She flushed and quietly resumed her meal, keeping her gaze down.

Jonas nodded and ate a spoonful. "So...how often do you two fuck?" Dmitri asked flatly. Jonas spat out his food coughing. "DUDE!" He choked out.

She looked up and narrowed her eyes. “I don’t believe that’s your damned business, Dmitri.”

Dmitri laughed. "I'm kidding!" he said. "I just wanna make sure that this man is treating you good." He said as he patted Jonas' back as he kept coughing. "If he ever doesn't you just tell me." he said.

She watched Jonas worriedly as he coughed, then glanced back at Dmitri with a raised eyebrow. “Thanks, but he treats me just fine.” She said pointedly, with a nod.

"Alright, but just remember to keep him in his place."

Surprised, she glanced at Jonas. Why would she need to keep him in his place? He was a sweetheart. “Why?” She inquired.

"Because, this little dork, has a tendency to get into trouble." He said.

“Oh really? How?” She squinted at Jonas curiously yet teasingly.

"Before I left high school on my mission, this little idiot, almost got his ass thrown out because he never knew when to shut up."

Skylar looked at Jonas with a chuckle. “But you’re too sweet for that.” She mentioned.

"He's sweet, not smart." He chuckled.

“He is smart!” She objected in Jonas’s defense. “C’mon Jonas! Defend yourself from these absurd assumptions!”

Of course she types back, closing her eyes once more.

"He's technically not wrong about all of them." He said. "I have a bad habit of running my mouth." He chuckled. "And calm down babe." He said "Dmitri's not hurting me, this is friendly banter."

“Oh I know.” She chuckled, poking his cheek playfully. She glanced at Dmitri and chuckled. “I gotta defend you though.”

"I thought the man was suppose to be doing the defending." Dmitri laughed.

She shrugged and tilted her head slightly. “I’m perfectly fine with doing the defending.” She chuckled.
