She sat up, clenching the sheets in her fists. “I feel so helpless,” she said, frustration evident in her voice. “Everything is falling all around me and I can’t do a goddamn thing. I need to do something or I’ll explode!”

"Well... you wanna help me make some decorations?" he asked gently.

She blinked and tilted her head. “What’s the occasion?”

"Well Ivan use to do a speed dating thing in the bar here. He'd help match people up by reading their auras, and so I thought I would be best if we kept the tradition going, in his honor." Jack said.

She gave a small smile, her frustration damping. “That sounds like a great idea. I’ll help. When is it?”

Tonight at 8 PM." Jack said. "We'll need to go pick up some flowers for the center pieces of the tables." He said.

“Okay, I’ll come with you then! Do we need to dress up or anything?”

"No, no, not until we have everything set that is." Jack smiled.

She smiled back. “Sounds like a plan!”

"Alright, lets get going then! I need to stop and pick up some ingredients as well." he smiled.

She nodded, relieved to have something to keep her busy. She left a note to Jonas in case he came back.

Jack waited for her to come with.

Skylar slipped her shoes and jacket on and followed him.

"First stop, flowers." He said as he left the bar. "What type do you think we should get for the center pieces?" He asked.

“Maybe Baby’s Breath?” She asked. “Or orchids?”

"I like baby's breath, orchids are a bit expensive." Jack said.

She nodded. “Fair enough.”

"Keep trying then. If your brother needs that medication failure is not an option." Valentina said.

(Jack and Skylar are putting on a Speeddating thing in the bar in honor of Ivan. Tsume is trying to find a way to make money for Kiba's Medicine.)

"Anything else you think we need for the center pieces?" Jack asked.

"I've been trying..." He said. Tsume took off the mask that hid his mutilation. He clacked his teeth as he spoke. "but people won't hire me. Look at me, i'm a monster." He said.

“White roses maybe?” She suggested.

"Maybe I can get you some money from Chase, just enough for one prescription refill, should give you enough time to find a job or sort it out." Valentina suggested.

"That sounds lovely." Jack said.

"I don't know, Chase has been snappy with me, and I don't want you to get hurt." He said as he looked down. "Thank you for the offer though." Tsume said.

"Chase is not going to hurt me." Valentina smirked confidently. "And I don't have to tell him that it's for you."

She smiled. “Glad I’m giving out good ideas.”
