Veli looked at the body of Wolf then to Nyla. “Is there anyone injured who needs to be brought inside?” He asked softly, still out of breath from his run and his heart pounding from the fear and adrenaline.

Nyla shook her head clinging to Wolfe's still body. " everyone injured was taken inside."

"Come on Chica, we shouldn't be out here too much longer. " Jax said.

Nyla shook her head. " you guys go in. I'll be fine."

"Now honey, I know you can't be killed but you can still be torn apart, and fresh flesh is likely to make them come here quick. I'll carry him for ya, we gotta get inside. Give the kid a proper farewell." Jax said as she crouched next to her. "I know how you feel, losing a loved one." He said.

" do you?" Nyla snapped tears still falling from her eyes. " he was always there to protect everyone and he may have looked like a monster but he was the sweetest guy i know."

Jax looked at her. "Yes, I lost my little sister. She might not have been as gentle as him, but she was my world."

" I keep loosing everyone..." Nyla said softly.

"Then let us help, it's what Atlas called us here for." She said as she helped Nyla up. "I'll carry him back for you."

Nyla was still not sure if she should trust them but she didn't have a reason not to.

Jax helped her to her feet and she reached down and lifted Wolf's body like it was nothing by a toy.

Nyla sighed going back into the haven.

They walked into the haven.

Nyla went to the infirmary to heal Cutter.

Jax left Wolf on the main entrance

Cutter was laying on the bed, his eyes red with tears.

Nyla placed a gentle hand on his chest.

Cutter looked at her. "Is...he?" He asked.

" I couldn't get to him in time...." Nyla said softly.

More tears poured out of his eyes. "No, damn it."

Nyla cried too.

Akaru was treating someone else who was injured on the table at the center of the med-bay, stitching up a long gash up the man's shin while the man lay unconscious. He glanced across the room, not noticing Nyla come in but noticing her standing over by Cutter's bed eventually.

Cutter looked at her. "We have to tell him." He whispered softly. "He needs to know."

" I know..." She sighed placing her for head on his chest.

Cutter reached up and petted her head. "I shouldn't have let him go out there with me." He whispered. "I shouldn't have let him die.."

" you couldn't have saved him..." She sighed.
