"Huh? Who did then?" She asked. "Might try to recruit them as a Leathersmith!" She laughed.

" I think it was Ian." She told her. " my shirt got ruined at the meeting the other night because i used to to put pressure on his wound and he told me he would replace it."

"What, no way?" She asked. "Stoneheart made that?" She looked at it again and shrugged. "Well who could have guessed. Doesn't look to be a man who would be good with his hands like that."

" he may have asked Jen to help him. But she's been so busy with the sickness that I doubt she did." She said admiring the shirt. " I don't ever remember telling him my Faviort color was blue."

"He really does care for you Gabby." She nudged her gently. ."Just a shame he's such a stick in the mud most the time."

" really? You think he's a stick in the mud? " gabby said confused when Ian was around her he seemed a little more carefree and open. " he's not like that around me."

She laughed. "That's because he likes ya Gabby." She said.

" everyone keeps saying that..." She trailed blushing a bit.

"So?" She smiled. "Make a move." She nudged her again. "He's too scared of opening up since he lost Maria." she sighed. "and he won't get better from it unless he gets help. And for right now, you're that first healing stone."

" I think Cheza is helping too." Gabby said softly.

(Maria is the apprentice he lost. She disobeyed an order to stay out of the front lines and ended up getting blown apart by one of MetalBurn's bombs.)

"Yeah, that little spunk money is honey for the soul." She laughed. "She's always eager to help out."

" she wants to fit in." Gabby told her. " she thinks she has a lot to prove since she wasn't born here."

"Bullshit." She shook her head. "Half the clan is made up of rescues like her. It's not like we've never taken in strays. Strays come to us a lot too. We're the closest clan to them if they can get out of the ruined world. My grandpa was a stray and my great grandmother was one too. She shouldn't let the old minds worry her. Lets be honest anyway, anyone hurts that little girls feelings, Lindsey will have a nice "talk" with them about their own blood and manors." She laughed.

" oh I know. I over heard one of her talks to someone the other day." Gabby chuckled slightly.

"Yeah i heard that one from my work shop. The unkilling warrior. She's one to look up to that's for sure."

" yes she is." Gabby nodded in agreement.

"The warrior whose never killed anyone." She shook her head, "that's amazing."

" it is." She agreed.

"You know everyone says that only the clan leaders had blessed abilities, but I still call bullshit. Lindsey is a heart of gold, but still strong as anyone else. And not to mention Firestorm. Oooo! First off that man was a looker! Great jawline. But he was so freaking intelligent and brave." She said. "It's a shame he's no longer with us. But he lives on in his kids, Scars got his brain, and his good features, nice jaw on him too. Gen got his compassion and his skin and hair." She said. "So make your move before it becomes too late." She nudged Gabby with a smirk.

" what?" She said blushing trying not to make eye contact.

She laughed and nudged her again. "Oh come on. It's obvious to everybody except for him. Most of us have been betting on you all since you were tikes!" She laughed. "The way you two would cling to each other when you were little, when you started training the numerous times the two of you got into trouble for stupid bets." She teased her more.

" we are friend." Gabby blushed deeply.

"Yeah and so are Tadoda and Xena, but we all kind of know about it." She whispered softly.

" we grew up together. Aren't we suppose to be close?" Gabby questioned.

"I mean yes, but it doesn't mean your close like that to everyone." She said. "I grew up with Tadoda, but we aren't that supper close."
