" questions where did you find the cattle and horses?" Nyla asked seeing them. " Also how can I do this same.thibg with Haven. Our crops would do so much better if we had a system like this." Nyla said looking around his place impressed with what he has done.

"Yeah, I don't see why you couldn't. You'd need power though, solar works but you guys are geographically in a better spot for wind so maybe wind power would also work..." Atlas mumbled as he started to walk back. "As for the stock, there was a small farm I knew of on the outskirts of the city that as soon as I had this area cleared I brought them over. There may still be some cattle there, but probably not a lot. If you all do head there, be careful. The pigs there were turned, nasty little fuckers. If I wasn't stone, would have taken my calf off." He warned.

" pigs are gross." Nyla told him. " Both wind and solar would work. I think I could rig something up."she told him following. " Maybe Ryder might want to help I think he's getting ancy just staying in the med bay with me."

"Who?" He asked as he relifted the rubble that acted as the door. "I've never heard of them."

" the new super that showed up. He's clairvoyant." Nyla explained. " But since he's new Henri requires him to be watched 24/7."

"Ah, I see. A clairvoyant, that's an interesting power." Atlas said as he lead her down some streets, following the sound of chattering zombies. "So, how'd you get your powers?" he asked.

" um..." Nyla paused thinking about what to say. " Just like everyone else I guess." She said lying adding a shrug.

Atlas shook his head. "You don't have to lie to me." He said. "It's not like I have anyone to tell anyway." He said. "If you don't want to tell me you just have to say so."

" I didn't get my powers like everyone else...." Nyla admitted. " Some crazy guy experimented on me and changed me." She told him. " I use to have this soft brown hair and green eyes... But now I have blond hair and purple eyes..."

Atlas nodded. "I've heard of that Bastard." he said. "Trying to find him." He said.

" yeah... He turned me into a monster..." Nyla sighed.

"Nyla, you aren't a monster." He told her gently. "You would be a monster if you used those abilities for wrong rather than right. You use these powers for helping people, right? So you are no monster." He told her as he climbed up onto a large piece of rubble and offered her a hand up as he leaned down to her. "Monsters don't do the right thing." He said.

" but I have to take life from others to do it." She said taking his hand. He could tell she kept most her skin covered so no skin to skin contact would happen.

Atlas pulled her up. "Nyla, you are anything but a monster. And the fact that you think the dead who walk are even still existing, then that is evidence enough. Just because you take a life does not mean you are a monster." He told her.

" But I have taken an actual life. Someone living..." Nyla admitted.

"Did you do it to help them, or help yourself? Acting in self defense is also acceptable." He told her as he hopped down and offered her help down.

" does accident count?" Nyla asked. Using the assistance she gave her to get down.

"An accident is an accident Nyla, it doesn't make you a monster. If that is your logic then Cutter must be 10 times worse than you." He commented gently.

" that was the first time I took a life..." Nyla trailed.

"Did you know you could take life when it happened?" he asked.

" no..." She shook her head. " But the second time I did know what would happen."

"Then you cannot blame yourself." he told her gently

" I still blame myself for not being careful enough. He told me I would have a negative affect to my powers..." Nyla sighed.

"But you couldn't have know. Don't beat yourself up over this." He told her.

" I know. But I should have taken precautions." She told him.
