Soul Takers 2.0

Wishbone sat down, mostly looking towards the forest but often turning his head back to watch Bo and Xaden again. Wagging his tail a bit as the end faded off into mist there wasn't really a reason he was there, just sticking around for a little company, not too accustomed to being alone. He turned his large white head again, ears pricked and black eyes looking at nothing in particular.

"Well that just won't do, especially since I wanted your help..." Xaden said

Bo seemed to instantly lose any inclination to just go back to sleep, now interested in the conversation. "What did you want my help for? And what would I get for helping you?"

Gen shot up and shook her head. "No. I'm fine." She said.

Doom walked to a small town house. "Well..." He smiled "This will be fun." He said walking to the door and throwing it open, breaking it off it's hinges.

"What's your name?" Charlie asked

"Genifur." She said. "But people call me Gen."

(I got confused with the breakfast scene, can we just skip that?)

Xaden smiled, "Well... since you are neutral in the situation I would like it if you could help me catch one of the rebels against Doom. You can discuss what you get after you do it."

"Okay, fine with me." Bo replied, "How soon do you want one?"

"As soon as possible." Xaden answered

Bo nodded and left toward the rebel base

"Nice to meet you Gen, I'm Charlie. Do you know what happened to you?"

She shook her head. Rylee handed her a plate of food. He smiled to her then looked to Charlie. "I'm heading out for a bit." Rylee said walking out the door. He closed the door behind him. Charlie noticed something was wrong. Rylee never left without his coat but he didn't grab it this time.

A child cried in it's crib the windows broken, and cold air whipping around the room. A dark hand picked the child up. "Hush, little one." Doom whispered. He walked over to the door way of the room, steeping over the dead women in the way. "Sh... Just hush. It will be alright." He smiled. He rubbed a finder on it's cheek. Where his finger touched the skin went gray.

[Eeeeeeppppp!!!!!!!]

"[No crying Sappy!]

[Rawr!! Don't tell me what not to do! ]

Now for the love of pete Night, what's going on?!?!?!?!]

Charlie watched Rylee go, not fully noticing his coat left behind yet and turning back to Gen.

[Hey guys! Message from Night: Her internet still sucks and can't get it to work at the moment, but she'll post tomorrow ]

"He's scared." Gen noted watching Rylee leave. She shook her head and then went back to eating.

"How can you tell? And scared of what?" Char asked

"I just saw his fear. And of what I dont know." She said.

"Huh, odd." She sat back and fell silent.

Colton whined by the door.
