"Oh, sorry." he said and sat down on the couch

"I dont have much time to stay. Doom will find out I broke away and come get me soon." he said. "I'm sorry I could do nothing for your friend." Leo looked at the hole. He hugged her. "You loved him didn't you?" He whispered. Li nodded sadly.

"It's alright" Jessy said softly. She cleared her throat a little, "So, erm, why were you over at the old base?"

"I was just wondering. I remember there being a building there. What happened?" he asked

Shade sobbed as she finished filling in the hole

Jessy sat down on the chair and shook her head, "Doom destroyed it by controlling some of our friends. They just tore through it... as though it were nothing" she replied as she gazed blankly at her hands.

"Who's Doom?" he asked

"I wish I could take away both of your's pain. But I can't My voice will stop again soon. Li dont forget, A lion's roar and a wolf's howl will destroy Doom. I must go." He said as he turned and ran.

Shade sat down beside the graved and brought her knees up to her chest, crying again

Jessy shook her head, "Ha, it's a long story but I'll give you the short version. He's a psychotic shadow demon that takes the souls of the dead and makes them his minions. The souls he gathers are usually of people or creatures he's tortured. He likes to bring it upon himself to then torture their families and loved ones"

"Come lets get you home...I have a bad feeling..." Li said the color gone from her face.

"He doesn't sound very nice..." he said

She continued crying, looking down at the grave

Jessy huffed, "Not in the slightest" she growled and shook her head to clear it. "So why'd you lead me here?" She asked tilting her head curiously

"I actually wasn't expecting you to follow me after I gave you your knife back. I was just trying to have a bit of fun." he said

Jessy blushed a little again, "Oh, um. sorry about intruding then"

"It's alright. I almost never get company over." he smiled, blushing also

Jessy smiled shyly and then realized something, "Oh gosh I feel rude, I never caught your name, I'm Jessy"

"I'm Mavi" he replied, reaching out to shake her hand

Jessy shook his hand and smiled, "Haha, well it's nice to meet you Mavi"

Li formed and pucked her up carrying her back home.

"You too, Jessy." he smiled. "Do you want me to cook that fish I caught? It's okay if you don't like fish, but that's pretty much all the food that's around here." he said

"Haha, I don't mind, if you want to" she shrugged

"Okay." he got up and went over to the kitchen. He touched the wall where he'd left a fish shaped shadow and pulled the fish out. He also grabbed a few more from the pantry before putting them on a pan over the stove.

Shade forced herself to stop crying as Li carried her

Jessy was completely amazed as she watched him

Li neared the house. Her wounds beating in pain but she ignored it. She set Shade down.
