"Let's go then." Akaru smiled too, walking towards where the kitchens were

He nodded and walked with Akuma. He had made a make shift sling to hold his arm.

Akaru sat down in the main hall by the kitchens, seeing some of the others who had the same idea and were waiting patiently too

The cooks where quickly trying to brew up something for them to eat. "It'll be a bit, so some bread and cheese is being passed around for right now." The head cook said.

Akaru passed some of his bread and cheese to Wolf, knowing he'd need to eat more.

Wolf took a small bit, not wanting to be greedy. He passed the food on.

Akaru at his share slowly to help pass the time waiting.

About an hour later they passed around bowl of chicken noodle. But the chicken was more like spam, and that spam was more like mystery meat.

Akaru ate it anyway, not too picky about what he ate. "So do you think all those vampires are gone now?" He asked, looking to Wolf between bites.

"I really hope so. They're way to fast, almost to fast for me to catch." he said.

"Provably even too fast for me to outrun too." Akaru nodded

"Man, this isn't good." Wolf sighed as he drank is bowl of soup down and quickly came back with a second bowl, ready to polish it off as well.

" huh." Ryder nodded looking at her. " Never knew a girl could look so hot in fur." He said wishing she would take the mask off again.

"Tsh. How much more cheesey can you get?" She sighed shaking her head.

"You say that but you're eating a ton of it." Akaru laughed watching Wolf.

"Hey...I know. But I've gotta feed both sides of me." He said.

"You can take some of mine then," Akaru said, "Small person, small stomach." He said, referring to himself.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"I'm sure." He nodded, taking a few more spoonfuls before passing the rest to Wolf.

Wolf quickly drank the soup down.

" I'm a cheesy person." Ryder grinned. " The fact you shoved me into your closet is kinda funny. Like you would be embarrassed if Akaru saw me with you."

"Oh, shut up, I have feelings and beliefs..." She said sighing.

(You should totally just have Ryder take her mask off.)

" feelings and beliefs like what?" Ryder asked.

"That I must stay a pure image in the eyes of the people." she said.

"Pure image in this world?" Ryder questioned. " Most everyone had revered to our primal pasts."
