Kro started walking for the stairs

Riley picked her up and put her behind him. "You, stay behind me." He said sternly. He walked up the stairs.

Charlotte was already downstairs and looked up as they walked over. "What's going on?" She asked Ry

"I smell blood." He said.

"Where?" Charlotte followed them

"Up stairs." Ry said. "Who's up stairs?"

"I think Rhett is, but I don't know where everyone else is." She replied

Riley nodded and started up the stairs more.

Kro and Charlotte both followed

Riley reached the top. "We gave some rooms to those men who came through the space/time rift rooms up here right?" He asked.

"Yeah." Charlotte nodded

"Anyone remember their names?" He asked.

"Nope." Kro shrugged

"Hello?" He called. "Anyone up here?"

"I am..." Rhett walked out of his room.

Kirin tilted her head, listening for anything really. "No, I don't hear it anymore " she sighed with relief

"Have you heard anything weird happen up here?" he asked.

"No not at all." Rhett replied.

'What was that thing and why was it after you?" Iroga wondered

"I have no idea, I haven't had anything like that happen before" Kirin shook her head as though to clear it before looking around her

"Should we go back to the cave then?" Iroga asked.

"No, not yet," she started, standing in the shadow of the building.

"Where do we go now then?" He stood up

"There's something... different about this place. There is a heck of a lot of demon based energy here. We must be miles from the town now. To answer your question with that bit of a tangent, I think we should check this place out a bit"

(I thought maybe they could have ended up running into the base(?) or whatever it's called now (sorry, I can't really remember]

"I can sense it too." Iroga looked up at the house. He walked around the side and up to the porch. "Should we knock?"

"Hmmm" Kirin nodded, "yeah, sure"
