Iroga stepped up to the door and knocked a couple times

Kirin walked up onto the porch and grazed her hand along the railing before leaning against it and looking out towards the forest

Charlotte heard the knock and went downstairs to open the door. "Oh, who are you two?" She asked

Kirin jumped a little, "Oh! Well hi, my name is Kirin, and this is my friend Iroga"

"What are you doing here?" She asked

Kirin tugged some of her hair sheepishly, "Well that was sort of my fault..." She paused and took a careful look at Charlotte. She nodded to herself, "We were trying to get away from something in the forest a ways back, but I made a mistake and lost focus and we ended up running into the side of your... Uh, building" she explained

"Our house?" Charlotte said then looked them over a bit more closely. "You're demons aren't you?"

Iroga nodded

Kirin brought her index finger and thumb close together showing 'just a little bit' and smiled

"Most of us here are demons too." Charlotte said, smiling back. "Want to come in?"

"I'd actually be delighted to if you don't mind." Kirin looked over at Iroga, "Do you wanna go in?"

He nodded and followed her inside.

"I'd say stay downstairs for now, Riley, Kro and Rhett think there might be something going on upstairs." Charlotte said

[Oh gosh, I have to get going, goodnight! ]

Kirin looked around as they walked in

"How many demons live here?" Iroga asked

"Twelve or thirteen, plus some others that aren't demons." She replied

Kirin whistled "Well that would certainly explain the energy level. She placed her hand in the back of a couch. "What are all of you doing here? I don't mean to sound rude, but even through my experiences this is a bit strange"

"This house is kinda like a safe place for us." Charlotte replied

"A safe place, huh?" She nudged Iroga, "Maybe that's why I didn't hear the voice anymore" she suggested a bit more softly

"Rylee keeps a sort of barrier around this place." Charlotte said. "You got through it that's how I guessed you were demons."

"Hmmmm, well that is quite an ability. Does this barrier just allow demons in? How does it work?"

"I'm not entirely sure..." She shrugged.

"Haha, fair enough. Well, you called this a safe place, but erm, safe from what?"

"The devil and anything else bad that comes after us." She replied

Iroga looked around the house

"Ahhhh, okay, so you guys are one of the groups against him. I wonder... Have you guys had anything... strange I guess happen recently?"

"Well parts of the forest have been dying, and we were attacked and the house was torn down." She replied

"Torn down, huh?" Kirin started somewhat absently. She shook her head, "Hey Iroga, have you seen any parts of the forest dying? It doesn't exactly happen often on its own"

Riley walked to the first door and knocked. No reply came so he opened it. The scent of blood rolled out, iron hitting their noses like a metal bar to the face. Riley backed up a bit his nose curled. He looked inside and saw the body of one of the quests. It's chest was splayed open, it's wrists and ankles broken and the head was missing. The whole bed and floor where bathed in blood. "FUCK!" Riley said. "Quick go check the other."
