"Yeah I went by an area pf dead forest earlier." He replied

Rhett nodded and went to the other room to check

In the rooms given to Artie, Apollo, Jinx and Chase, each one had a bloody body with it's head missing. "Fuck, how could this have happened?" Ry said.

Rhett stepped behind Ry, looking at the bodies uneasily. "You think it was whatever came from their dimension?"

"I don't know." Riley said. "But I want to know is where are their heads..."

[*sees familiar names and jumps around excitedly* Ooooooo, some dramatic stuff is a comin'!]



"What did the area look like?" Kirin asked curiously, "besides dead" she added after a short pause

"Lots of dead black trees, some still standing, others fallen or leaning over, some broken in half..." Iroga replied. "The grass and all the other plants were dead too, the grass looks shriveled away, barely enough left to cover the dirt."

Rhett turned away from the bodies and walked back out to the hall. "Can you find any kind of trace of whatever killed them?"

"Shhh...." Riley said and looked up. "Listen..." He said pointing to the roof.

Kirin shivered a little "The only thing that might do that would be one hell of a serious drought"

Rhett stood still and listened, faintly hearing a sound but not enough to know what it was.

"A drought would affect a much larger part, if not all of the forest. Something passed through that area specifically and caused it." Iroga theorized.

Kirin nodded in agreement. "It certainly couldn't have been natural though..." Kirin shivered again, "Did you happen to sense anything in that part of the forest?"

"Not that I remember." He shrugged

Kirin looked thoughtful, "Hmmmm, then I haven't the slightest idea" She look back towards Charlotte, "I'm sorry, it's just very strange"

"Yeah we've been trying to figure it out for a while now." Charlotte said.

"Well, if you don't mind, I would like to stay and try to figure this out with you guys" Kirin replied

"I'll stay too." Iroga said. "I really have nowhere else to be anyway." He shrugged

Kirin smiled at Iroga, "Great! Maybe we could go and check out that dead area of forest and see if there's anything that might hint to what's going on"

"Sure." He nodded. "Right now?"

"We don't have to go right now, we can check out the area here first if you'd want," Kirin smiled.

"Someone is on the roof." He said.

[Dun dun, duuuuunnnnn!]

"Should we go outside and look from there?" Kro asked

"We have an escape hatch at the end of the hall that leads to the roof." He said. "Just stay behind me."

Kro nodded and she and Rhett followed him

Riley climbed up and then stopped with a gasp. "Well shit!" He swore.
