Guardians (RP thread)

"It was one week before Grey, The one who was to be Dragkin, was to battle his dragon. The other five put on a part for him. I was trying to finish up the present I had made for him." He said softly. "I got a knock on my bed room door. When I opened the door, Jack, the student who was the second in line was standing there. He told me he needed to tell me something. I got closer to hear what it was and then everything went black. I woke up in chains and in pain. Spears where in my gut." He said softly.

" Your demond side came out." Sam said.

Fallon listens quietly.

"No, I've never actauly had it come out. What happened was Jack had knocked me out and sold me to a science facility." he said.

" Why does this sound like the bible story with joseph. Where his brothers sold him to Egypt as a slave?" Sam asked.

Fallon waits, wanting to listen to the rest of the story.

"Trust me this story is worse..." Azriel said.

A young Ajax pulled on the chains and jerked the spears in his gut twisted. He threw back his head crying. Tears poured down his face. "HELP!" He called.
"No one will hear you and no one will WANT to come save you Ajax. Son of the demon of blood." Jack snarrled.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Why? Because it's your damned father, and all his children who slaughtered my family! I was only five!" Jack roared.
"And I'm sorry! Please! Just stop!" Ajax cried as the spears twisted again. He coughed out blood. His body started to heal itself.
"Look at you, you monster! You wont even die! You just keep healing! You disgusting piece of shit!" Jack snapped. He pressed a button and the chains started to move into the wall. "I wonder if you'll live with your limbs ripped off or if they'll just grow back!?"
Ajax cried in pain. "Why, Jack?"
"Why? Cause I've hated you from the moment you where born." He snarled.
"Jackson stop this!" Nelson roared as he ran in stopping on the cat walk above. "Enough of this! Father Zeben has taught you better than this!"
"Fuck him and his ways! Let's just kill all demons and save the world!"
"That's not our choice!" A young girl shouted at Jack. "That is God's!"
"Screw him! He let a family of Demons kill my family." He shouted.
"Zoey, Mike, Gem. You three get Ajax. Nick, you're with me. We'll knock some sense into Jack." Nelson said. The five of them split up and took off.
Zoey, Mike and Gem ran over to where Ajax was hanging on the wall. His blood dripped down the wall and he cried. "Blood demon's blood is poisonous to touch. It's like acid and will burn your flesh away. See if you can find a way to get to him without touching the wall." Mike said.
"Don't worry Ajax, we'll get you down." Zoey smiled.
Nelson ran up and grabbed Jack. "What is wrong with you!?" He roared throwing him. "That's our little brother!"
"He's no brother of mine!" Jack hissed throwing a punch at Nelson hitting him in the jaw. Nelson stumbled back feeling his cheek. It was dissolving. "You're using his blood!?" He roared.
"hey the world is always at war! Imagine how quickly we can fix the world with a pint of his blood." He snapped. Nick jumped for Jack. Jack just plunged his knife into Jack's back. Jack screamed in pain as his bones became liquid. He fell to the floor writhing.
"Nick!" Nelson said. He glared at Jack. "I never wanted to kill my own family, but I will if it stops you." He said.
"Looks like it's a new day for new things. I never thought I'd feed my body and soul to demons, but looks like, I did." Jack snarled. He stabbed the knife into himself and growled. His eyes changed into blood red and he laughed. "I can feel this power! Its...refreshing." He smiled pointed teeth at Nelson.
"Unholy beast."
"Damn right." Jack laughed. His eyes flickered down to Ajax. "No, no, none of you are letting him go." He chuckled. He flicked a wrist. Blood from a holding tank shot up like a rocket and pierced Gem through the head. "NO!" Ajax cried. His one eye started to cry out bloody tears. He coughed out more blood.
Nelson brought out a Khakkhara and swung it at Jack. "Stop!" Nelson cried. "You are not a monster! brother, you are good. I know you are! Stop this now!"
"Why would I want to!? I can cure the world!" Jack snarled.
Small demons made of blood rose from the ground and from the wall below Ajax and attacked Zoey and Mike. Mike tried to fight them off with a knife but his arm was quickly shredded. Zoey was caught by the hair and drug into the vat of acidic blood. The catwalk Nelson and Jack where fighting on collapsed from rust and weight. The room was filled with dust and smoke. "It's my fault..." Ajax cried. He hung his head crying, his eye closed.there was a loud click and one arm fell free. Ajax looked up. Nelson, covered in blood and becoming nothing but blood himself was standing there freeing Ajax. "N-No! Nelson! Leave me! You're the dragkin...." Ajax cried.
"what type of big brother would I be if I left you to die?" He smiled through the pain and unchained the last chain. He caught Ajax and held him in a hug. Nelson was now, mostly bone. "Now...it's your turn to be a hero." He said as the blood ate away at his body. His hand fell limp and a bright purple stone fell from it. Ajax lay in the pool of blood crying. He held himself shaking. A warm heat came from behind and he looked back, for his tears to be burned away.
Azriel kneeled next to him and took the purple stone placing it in his hand. "Come...Dragkin."

"Since that day, Ajax cannot heal himself." Azriel said.

Fallon walks over to Ajax, and hugs him. "I'm glad you're our Dragkin," she whispers, before letting go, and looking at him. She smiles. "None of what happened was ever you're fault, Ajax, and it never will."

Ajax looks at her surprised. He sighed. "Thanks." He said.

Sam looked at Ajax shocked.

She cuddles River some more.

"If I lose this dragon stone, If I'm not in contact with it and I'm killed, I wont come back." He said. "This is my life now." He said. "That is why I am your Dragkin."

Sam just stayed quiet.

"Then we'll just have to make sure you never part with the stone."

"Alright, now, let's go over some basic rules of being a Guardian. One: Don't sleep with other guardians. Isn't that right Azriel?"

"Hey I was only 20 and I didn't know Fia would try to suck out my soul!" Azriel snapped.

Fallon snickers.

" Apparently she's into that stuff." Sam muttered.

"Yeah, stay away from Fia." Azriel said.

"Two, you are only as strong as you will. If you lose your Will you can't fight." He said.

She blinks, listening intently.

Sam shook her head " Guess I should leave then." She signed turning away from the group.

"No. You will become stronger." he said. "The worst type of damage you can do to an enemy is damage their mind." he said.

Fallon just listens.
