Guardians (RP thread)

" stop! Please!" Sam cried tears running down her cheeks her eyes were clamped shut. " Stop! Get your hands off me!"

"I'm so sorry Sam, I have to cleanse you." He said his own voice laced with pain. She felt something in her shoulder loosen and Rayyan pulls out a long worm like demon from the wound in her shoulder. He throws it to the ground and then flicks his wrist slicing it into little bits and pieces. He grabs her shoulder and his hand warms up as the wounds in her shoulder start to close.

Sam was crying begging him to stop the whole time.

He pulled his hand away when her flesh was whole again. He gently reached down and pulled her bra strap back up. He pulled the two sides of her shirt together and blew on them fixing her shirt. "I have to check your face now, okay?" He asked gently as his fingers became whisps again.

Sam turned away from him flinching away.

Rayyan was crying. "I'm so sorry Sam." he said. His fingers gently touched her face searching the inside of her wounds for demons. Finding none he started to heal her face. He held it gently. "I really am sorry."

Sam was sobbing.

Rayyan pulled his hand away as she finished healing. "Release." he said as the invisible binds on her fell off.

Sam crumpled to the ground curling up on herself.

Rayyan watched her. "Sam I'm so sorry I did that to you." he said. He went to touch her but pulled his hand back. "I'll place a protective barrier around you so you can be at peace until dawn." he said He whispered some words and the ground within 100 feet of her started to glow in a ring. Rayyan looked back at her. "I hope you can forgive me." He said. He stretched his wings and they pulled him off the ground and into the air climbing higher and higher until he was gone in the clouds.

Sam just sat there crying and kept crying holding herself. " Why do they always do this?" She questioned. " Why can't they see I'm not meant to be a guardian?"

Eli looked at him somewhat amazed

"Alright, quiz time! What element is best paired with fire?" Azriel asked.


Rain started to fall on the ground, but none touched her. The sky over her was cloudless and blue.

Sam didn't seem to notice she just kept hold herself and crying.

Rayyan couldn't stand seeing her like that. He flew down next to her and kneeled by her.

" Why can't I die?" Sam begged.

"Because we care for you." he said softly.

" I want to die..." Sam cried.

"I don't want you to." He said softly.

" Like you even care..." Sam mumbled.

"I do!" He said. "If I didn't I wouldn't have healed you of that worm demon."

" If you care you would have left me alone! " Sam snapped

"No cause that demon would have possessed you." He said softly.

" I don't care." Sam shouted.

"I care for you." Rayyan said.
