Wolf growled. "No one's gonna hurt our family." He snarled.

" atlas who was the guy?" He asked.

"Our family?" Akaru looked at Wolf unsure of what he meant.

" us. All of us here and at haven." Ryder told him hearing Akaru. " We are a family and will always be one."

"He's my old partner from when I was human and a criminal. He now calls himself Count." Atlas said.

"Count? What is he a Vampire?" Wolf growled.

"Yes." Atlas said.

" And could be behind the zombie vamps we have been seeing." Ryder pointed out.

"Yes, he is..." Atlas said. "But not just that, he can suck up and absorb powers from other supers if he drains them of blood." He said.

" What about made supers?" Nyla asked.

"No clue. I know he's dangerous." Atlas said. "He got me so now, he's even more dangerous." He said.

" And what makes you more powerful then the rest?" Nyla asked sharply.

"Hello, My skin can't be broken, I cant get the virus." He said.

" Neither can Akura or Cutter." Nyla pointed out. " you may have inpenitrable skin. But your eyes can still be plucked out. " she said with venom.

" Nyla whoa what's gotten into you?" Ryder asked going up to her. Nyla usually never spoke like this.

"Out of the Super's I'm willing to bet I'm the strongest." Atlas said.

" I don't think you are." Nyla growled.

" nyla." Ryder said grabbing her arm. " What's gotten into you? " he asked.
" don't touch me." Nyla hissed pulling ryder's hand off her arm. Just as she touched him Ryder gasped in pain the skin she was touching turned grey. She gasped letting go and backing away.

"N-Nyla?" Cutter said going over to her.

" Don't touch me." Nyla gasped looking at her hands then up at Ryder who was cradling his arm to his chest.

" Shit... what did you do nyla? I thought you healed!" He snapped glaring at her.

" I'm a monster..." she whispered.

"Nyla you aren't." Cutter said reaching for her.

Loki backed away from everything. He shook.

Nyla backed away from his hands before running out the door.

Ryder looked at it wrist it was back to normal now. " man that hurt. It felt like she was taking the life from me."

Cutter didn't stay to listen. "NYLA!" He shouted running after her. "Nyla, baby wait!!!"

"Ryder, what was that about?" Sabber asked.

" I have no clue. Nyla never lashes out." He said confused.

Nyla ran to the top of the building and stood there. " I'm a monster..."

Cutter came up behind her. "No...no you aren't. You're still getting use to your powers."

" I hurt ryder." Nyla shook her head. " I snapped at Atlas."

"We just need to learn the new you." He said.

" What if I don't like the new me?" Nyla asked.

"Then we learn to love it." He said.
