Guardians (RP thread)

"You really want to know?" Yashvi said. "I'm not supposed to tell anyone."

"Why wouldn't I want to know?" Eli asked.

"Fine." She sighed. "That friend of mine is actually my master. He's the one who brought me back to life for the sole purpose of me being some immortal zombie servant. if I destroy the guardians, he sets me free."

"I don't believe what he has to say. Even if we guardians were to die, there is no guarantee you'll actually be set free."

"It's an advanced magic contract that even he has to obey. I will be freed once the job is done." She said

"A contract always has loopholes" Eli replied

"It's the only chance I've got right now." Yashvi said

Lei got up and went over to the living room to notice the wound on his back was still there. He groaned in pain and sat down on the couch. I thought Ajax's healing worked?

"Actually there is a second option. What your 'master' did falls within the territory of the guardians. It makes him the same level as a demon if he is in possession of a soul and preventing it from going where it is supposed to go. Therefore you could tell the guardians, lead them to your master, and they can defeat him. If he were defeated your contract would be null and void, therefore you would be free" Eli responded

"If he saw me coming with the guardians to stop him he could have me drop dead then and there. He brought me back to life, he owns my life." Yashvi said

Lei coughed and leaned against the back of the couch.
"Let me take a look." Quinn noticed and came over. He leaned forward and she lift the back of his shirt to show the wound. "Is there a first aid kit around?" She asked Ajax or Azriel

"That isnt necessarily true, the guardians are not weak and the full guardians know a lot about these things. It is possible they could find a way to prevent that from occurring." Eli replied

"I doubt it." She sighed, going to sit down again. "Besides why would you help me, I hurt and captured two of you already and may yet still kill a guardian."

"I don't blame a misguided soul. You really aren't to blame for what happened, your 'master' is and he means a problem. Ajax wouldn't be happy with it but if I explained the situation to everyone I'm sure they'd agree." Eli answered

"I'm still a killer out of my own motives. I've killed those my master has never told me to." Yashvi said

"Are you trying to convince me not to help? Look, your 'master' is the greater evil here." Eli responded

"I don't want you to help." She said

"You'd rather cause the death of many than accept help?" Eli asked wit a blank expression

"I guess, yes, then." Yashvi nodded

Eli replies after a minute, "I don't care for the majority... but the children and good people... they'd die too and I won't stand for that." Eli looks at Yashvi, "If you truly want the guardians dead... if you truly want to cause all of that... kill me now." Eli's gaze held no emotion as he looked at Yashvi.

"Like I said before, you'll be the last to die. I believe the purgatory guardian will be the first, then the Dragkin." Yashvi said

"If you want the Dragkin to arrive here sooner the best way is to hurt me. He'll be here almost instantly if my wrists are sliced and I call his name." Eli said

Ajax ran into the forest following the scent he got from the shard.

Eli smirks slightly, "I could always just slice my own wrists and get him here"

"Go ahead." Yashvi shrugged. She pulled out her haladie, a curved double sided knife, and fiddled with it while watching him

Quinn grabbed a cloth from the kitchen and put it to Lei's side, trying to stop the bleeding

Samara walked out to where Ray was.
