"No... Maybe give me the alcohol then?" Lei suggested.

Eli woke up again after a while

" no. It makes your blood thinner and you'll bleed out quicker." Sam said sternly. " I have some herb mixtures that will numb the pain."

"Okay, if you're gonna cut me open I need some kind of pain killer..." Lei trailed off and coughed up some more blood, closing his eyes.

"Okay, do you want me to pull the blood out of his lungs?" Rayyan asked. "It'll buy more time."

The little Zorka blinked down at Eli. It chirped happily.

" I have no other choice but to seal the hole. Or you're going to down in your own blood." Sam stated. She looked up at Rayyan. Shaking her head. " no. The wound is bleeding more blood will take its place. I need to stop the internal bleeding before I can suck the blood out of his lungs."

Lei just grunted to show he'd heard her, not opening his eyes and focusing on breathing.

"Oh hello there" Eli said

It chirped and nuzzled him gently.

"Give me about five minuets and I'll be back with tools." Ray said.

Lei opened his eyes again and picked Bai up off the floor and put him on the couch beside him, petting Bai slowly. "Don't worry." he muttered

Bai cried gently. He held his hand.

"Please don't cry, I'll get better in no time." Lei said

Sam nodded she diced to make Lei a herbal tea that would calm him and help numb the pain. " Drink this it will help. " she smiled reasurely.

Lei sat up slowly, wincing, and took the cup of tea. He drank it gratefully until it was gone before he laid back down again

"Well you're certainly friendly" Eli said

Yashvi attacked Ajax again with her haladie, aiming for his throat

Sam took his cup once he was done and set it to the side. She waited patiently for Rayyn to get back. Her feeling of something was wrong didn't go away. Now Sam was worrying about Ajax.

By the time Rayyan came back with all the tools, Lei had gone unconscious

Sam wasn't surprised he was unconscious. She did give him something in his drink to knock him out. His breathing was still hard but she knew why.

Lei's breathing was slowly getting weaker

Ray returned. "Here." he said as he handed her the tools.

Ajax turned to face her as she appeared behind him. As he turned his heel slipped and he fell.

Sam nodded and went right to work. Working quickly and efficiently.

Rayyan watched, wondering why she didn't heal him with her powers.

Sam didn't know about her healing powers. But she did know how to do this. She easily found the bleeder and sealed it an sealed the whole in his lung. Then stitched up his stab wound. " okay." She breathed out finding a small point sereng stabbing it into his chest removing the blood. Once she heard his breathing settle and become calm she relaxed.
