"Any sign of what might have caused it?" Charlotte asked.

"I want to be with Riley and Colton is my friend. I also want Riley and Colton to continue to be friends. But Colton thinks that Riley and I are just fooling around. I honestly don't know why it bothers him so much, maybe he thinks I'm too much of a distraction to Riley." Kro said

"I j-just s-sense evil..." Adri answered

"We know it's evil but we need to know why it's all dead and what caused it." Charlotte said, staring at the dead bits of wood and looking frustrated

"I d-dont know wh-what c-caused it." Adri replied

Charlotte sighed and continued walking

Amber swallowed and looked back at the forest again

Kirin tapped her lip, "I mean, this may seem a little light for the situation, but have you every seriously talked with them about this?"

"I've tried to. I've talked about it at length with Riley, but all I've heard from Colton is him shouting about it. I believe he and Colton have argued about it several times." She replied

Adri glanced at Charlotte and then Amber

"So... Colton's never just sat and talked with you about it? Or why he's upset?"

Amber sighed and followed, "I'm going to take Adri up to see the clouds quick" she said. "Would you like to hop on?" she asked Adri

"I'm not entirely sure, something about me and Riley being together bothers him." She shrugged

Kirin shook her head, "Even so, you shouldn't blame yourself and just leave. Where will you go?" she asked looking genuinely concerned

Adri nodded and went to Amber

"I honestly don't know, out into the forest? I can survive out in the wilderness on my own, in fact the forest is more of my home than anywhere else could be. I guess I should leave anyway, I need to clear my head too." Kro said, walking back over to her bed and continuing to pack, then she looked at the case. "If I'm going to the forest I don't need all this then..."

Kirin looked at thoughtfully and a little troubled before remembering what had happened just before she'd arrived with Iroga. "No!" She paused and flushed, not meaning to shout "Sorry, but the forest isn't safe. There's something very... dark out there, and it's only going to grow."

Amber turned around and let her climb onto her back, "Alright, now hold on" she said before leaping into the air and soring towards the sky, weaving back and forth every now and then so the pressure wasn't so harsh. She aimed for one of the relatively low hanging clouds

"I can protect myself, it's not like I haven't done it before. Actually I've spent most of my life out wandering in dangerous forests." Kro smiled.

Adri held on tightly

Kirin shook her head and tugged nervously at some of her hair, "Child, many of us have been there at some point, but this is serious. I've traveled for nearly my entire life and I'd be cautious just to step back into those woods much less live in them"

Amber approach one of the low clouds and got close to it

[Oh good god, they're talking about a Warriors movie... I don't know how to feel right now]

"I'm probably older than you yet you call me a child?" Kro chuckled. "Thing is, the dark thing that people were usually afraid of that lurks out in the forest... was me."

[An actual film company is thinking about it or just Youtubers?]

Adri reached up and touched the cloud

[An actual film company apparently :O ]

Kirin raised her eyebrows, "Yes, and I was the wind that stirred the leaves and bit their nose, and pardon the name, it became a bit of a habit a while back" she rubbed her eyes for a moment. "Just remember, this isn't you out in that forest, you have no control over it, it's unpredictable, and I don't know that you really went out of your way to destroy things. Parts of that forest are gone, and I might know part of what's causing it"

Amber smiled, "Now, would you like to fly through it, or are you good just touching it?"

[Honestly I think if they're going to make a movie they should just condense the first 6 books into one plot. That way it can leave out all the confusing details, tell the whole first arch and be far enough away specifically from the original plot that new people watching it can enjoy it without having to read the books]

"I control the forest. And if you know anything about what's causing it, bring it up to the others, especially Riley, as soon as he gets back." Kro said.

Adri grabbed back on, "Th-through the c-cloud"

Kirin sighed, "Alright, I can't force you to do anything, or not do it for that matter, but just watch your back and try to be a little bit safe"

Amber chuckled, "Alright, here we go!" She flew up and did a small loop through the cloud
