Soul Takers 2.0

They were coming up on an old ruined cathedral surrounded by smaller stone buildings connected to it. Just before the buildings was an area with short stone walls and tombstones, a cemetery. They walked through the cemetary to get to the cathedral

Kirin gazed at the stones, trying to make out a couple of names

[Well hello there ]

The boy waited a minute before saying his name, "It's been a long time since anyone asked my name... I almost forgot, but I think it's Alec."

(Hey! You missed a little bit, Kro almost died =p)

The whole place just gave an aura of complete emptiness, coldness and death. Ulmis led them through the front doors of the ruined cathedral and down the main hall. White mist filled the whole inside of the building and swirled around them

"Alec is a good name" Kirin nodded, "Where did you come from?" she asked as she looked around in a bit of awe

Alec hesitated to enter. He stopped just outside. "It feels like a place he touched....."

Some mist floated closer to Kirin and the boy, and if Kirin looked close enough into it she could make out faces.

"Don't mind the ghosts. They're harmless but curious." Ulmis said and turned down a narrower hallway. Kro shook from the cold and stumbled a few times

"Ghosts? That explains it... phew.... I'm glad it wasn't what I thought...." Alec said. "Um and to answer your question... I'm from hell in another dimension that was destroyed? Umm... at least I think thats right.... It's been a long time...."

Kirin nodded, "Sounds about right," she said and guided him through the hall, "but how could you have gotten here...?"

(Oh okay! Riley would have been super pissed!)

"Wait... you aren't surprised.... have you... have you met someone else like me then? Maybe a girl?" His voice sounded confused but hopeful

Kirin looked down at him, a little amused by how he'd expected her to be surprised, and yet he'd stated his origin so calmly. She shook it off, still a bit unsure of him, "Certain things have happend recently that may keep me from answering some of your questions. Unfortunately, this is one of them" she said briefly

The boy grew quiet. Then a few minutes later said, "Adri Lawless. That's the name isn't it? She's my long lost sister..... The last time I saw her... I almost died."

"Not that I can ever SEE her again..."
