" Half of us grew up in a broken home or on the street." Sam told him. " Yes we need you. But we also need to learn how to defend ourselves."

"I'm suppose to defend you until you can." He said.

" I'm still here aren't I? " Sam asked.

"But...they might not be..." He shook in fear.

" Hey. You have done a great job so don't worry yourself. " Sam said with a smile.

He just cried.

Sam just hugged him letting him cry. " You're are doing a great job ajax."

"I wish it felt like it." He said.

" your job isn't an easy one." She said thinking about her next words.

"I'm not even meant for this job." He said.

" I think you are. If you weren't you wouldn't feel like this. " Sam told him.

He pulled away and took a deep sigh. "Anyway..." He said.

(International?)

" It's okay to feel doubt it means you are doing your job. But don't let the doubt cloud your judgment." Sam said gently.

"Yes..." He said as he started to carve ruins into the ground. He started to walk in a circle around the house.

Sam followed him watching carefully.

He kept writing the ruins and as he finished one ruin, he poured his blood into it to fill it up.

She watched carefully.

He made a circle around the house. He finished the last rune and the blood filled it up. The blood itself started to glow and then then marks disappeared. He fell back sweat rolling down his face. "Damn..."

Sam caught him. " hey take it easy you used a lot of blood."

She nods. "Okay. See you tomorrow, Akel," she says smiling. She jumps down the tree happily.

"See you then, little dumpling..." He smiled happily.

Ajax panted and slowly nodded. "It should be enough for a few weeks until Orrik is back and running alright." He tried to stand up but only fell on her again. She heard a sound of strings screaming in disharmony. It was the sound coming from his soul. It was over stressed.

" come here let's get you back inside." Sam said allowing him to put all his weight on her as she helped him back inside.

Ajax nodded and leaned on her moving back to the house.

Fallon goes back to the house, feeling happy and content. She hums a little song.
