Gang Wars RP

Tad just sleeps there with the animals. A text came on her phone.

"Dmitri? Is that really you?" Jonas asked.
"Well no shit Jon, who else would it be!?" He laughed as he stood up. Jonas let go of Skylar's hand and offered it to the young man in a shake. "I-It's good to see you again."
Dmitri took the hand and shook it. "Good to see you too..." he said sternly with a flat face. The face then twisted into a smile as he pulled Jonas to him and wrapped him up in a hug, lifting him off the ground laughing. "Awe come on man, why so strict? Loosen up a bit man!" Dmitri said swinging him around from side to side. Jonas laughed as he embraced the man.

Skylar couldn’t help but let the neutral expression on her face shift into amusement as she watched the two. They seemed like good, old friends. Maybe they were.

She looks down at it.

Dmitri set him down and smirked. "I'm off jobs for a few months now since that last mission was so damn long!" He chuckled. "So we can catch up."
"That'd be awesome!" He smiled.
"So first off, who's the hottie!?" Dmitri asked as he pointed to Skylar.
"Oh, uhm..." Jonas said getting red. "She's Skylar...she's uhm... well she's..."
"They're dating Hunk said from where he sat.
"WHAT!?" Dmitri said.

It was Hoss. Everything alright with him?

She blinked and raised an eyebrow, then stepped forward holding out her hand. “Skylar.” She said. “Nice to make your aquaintance.”

Dmitri shook her hand. "No, Ma'am, the pleasure is mine." He smiled as he pulled her into a hug. "Any friend of Jojo's a friend of mine." He smiled as he hugged her. He was warm and despite being muscular, was soft to hug.

Like a cat, Skylar bristled when she was immediately pulled into a hug, her arms limp with surprise at her sides. Then remembering that this was a good friend of Jonas’s and noticing how soft he was, she puffed up her cheeks slightly in reluctant surrender and gently patted his back, accepting his hug as her sharp quartz gaze slightly softened. “He told me it was weird to call him that.”

"Hey best friends tease each other like assholes." He said as he set her back down. "Is jack around, I'm starving!?" He smiled.
"No Jack is out for the day." Hunk said. "You kids will have to cook your own food."

“I can fix up something.” Sky suggested, knowing Jonas would probably want to catch up with Dmitri.

"Are you sure?" Jonas asked gently. "I can cook if you don't want to." He said.

She smiled and squeezed his hand. “I’m sure. Catch up with Dmitri and I’ll do my best to fix something good.” She kissed his cheek and walked to the kitchen.

He smiled and watched her leave as he sat down at the bar with his friend. "So how was Russia?" Jonas asked.
"Cold as fuck! I think I lost a testicle there." He laughed jokingly. "It was pretty though. And so where the women!" He nudged Jonas.

Skylar listened distantly as she stood in the kitchen glancing over the pantry, scrutinizing their options and what she knew how to cook.

"Yeah...you haven't changed, other than in appearance that is." Jonas said with a shake of his head.

"You've changed too man! I mean look at you, getting girls, working for the gang." He smiled. "All that jazz!"

She chewed her lip as she listened and decided to make hamburger helper and cornbread.

"It's really not much, you've actually been out there doing things for the gang...I can barely hold my own against Tad." He said.

"Chill Jo, it will all fall into place in time. And trust me some jobs aren't as nice as they seem. I might have been sent to Russia, but the whole time...I was killing people." He said. "I even had to kill a child cause they saw me..." Dmitri said softly his eyes closing. "I never want to do that again."

Skylar stirred the hamburger in the pan, frowning quietly to herself. Killing people? She knew that sometimes couldn’t be helped in gangs though she never wanted part in it, but killing a child?

He's fine, she types back, not willing to say anything more.

Jonas placed a hand on his shoulder. "I want this all to end Jojo..." He said. "I has to end...and I have faith Tad can stop it." He said.

Not too long later, Skylar turned the stove off and cut the cornbread into small slices. “Lunch is done!”

She fixed her plate and drink and went to sit at the table.

The boys got themselves some food. "So...enough about me, how did you two love birds meet?" He asked.

Skylar blinked in surprise at the question, then flushed slightly. “Well, um...”
