" I can understand that." Gabby nodded. " well I think a start to that is to not run away from the Clans and think so low on yourself."

"You know that they hate me." He said.

" so change their minds by not caring what they think."

"I don't care what they think, but it doesn't change what they think." He said.

"Are you so sure about that?" She asked.

"No I don't care but their opinions matter to others, both in the clan and out side of it." He sighed. "They all look at me like I'm a murderer." he roared. "Like I wanted Maria to die." He shook in anger. "And then they blame me for her father killing himself." He snapped.

" you didn't kill her, shadowclan did. They were the one's who attacked us." Gabby told him softly.

"But I was suppose to protect her." He said softly.

" and you did your best. You can't exactly control a rebellious apprentice." Gabby paused. " show them how good of a mentor you are by teaching Cheza."

"But..." Scar trailed off. "What if I'm not good at being a mentor." He asked.

" that's doubt speaking." She told him. " Cheza looks up to you. No matter what you do she will be thankful for you."

"But what if i mess up again Gabby, what If I lose her?"

" I don't think you can looser her." Gabby told him gently. " she will listen to everything you say."

"I just don't want to fail again." He said.

" if you don't try then you never know if you will succeed."

"I'm scared of failing." Scar said.

" you aren't alone in this." Gabby said holding his face gently making him look at her. " you have people here cheering you on and wanting you to succeed."

Scar smiled gently as he reached up and held her face in his hand. "I know that better now than before." He blinked a few times before leaning in to her and kissing her gently.

Gabby kissed him back.

Scar pulled her closed as he kept the kiss going.

Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck pressing closer to him.

Scar pulled her onto his lap and ran his hands up and down. He pulled away for breath and smiled gently. "Well...uhm...what do you want to do...? He asked softly.

Gabby looked up at him with her big green eyes. " you " was all she said.

Scar's face lit up to a night red color. He coughed a bit flustered for a moment.
